This paragraph is my reply to the response of the owner to my original review. My original review is right under this paragraph. My reply: Firstly, you did have a buy-one-get-one-half-off promotion before on a student mobile app called campus cash, which has gone unavailable just recently, so, please do not just arbitrarily deny my statement. Secondly, the attached photo is the part of the receipt listing the 2-scoop being $3.70 and not $2.70 as per your claim in your response. My approximation of $3.80 in my original review was not too far off the accurate cost of $3.70, however, the instant 60% price increase is still way off the scale. I also was never offered a "smaller" option of 2-scoop that would cost less, by the employee! Your consultants again did not give you the right advice that being dishonest is not a good business strategy. Transparency is the key to success in any business. Moreover, increasing the amount of custard may not be favorable for all the customers necessarily. If they want a bigger portion, they can always ask for a 3-scoop or another larger dessert. On another note, even if we assume the customer do welcome the larger portion, your consultants failed to see that increasing the amount is a hidden change, but increasing the price is an evident change. I for one neither did notice the change in the portion, nor was told about the portion-increase by other consumers or the employees. The customers see the evident change, which is not in their favor, but do not see the hidden change which is in their favor (assuming that more custard is favorable for them). You offer the best quality of product, so you are expected to have the best quality of business management. Original review: Price of a two-scoop increased from $2.30 to $3.80. The major promotions and coupons are also gone. Price increase due to the issues with the economy? understandable. But there needs to be a limit to that. 25%, 35% increase? okay! But 70% increase?! Nokay! What do your marketing consultants tell you? You may need to change the crew. Even if you need to increase the price by 70% due to the most exceptional situations on the planet, you could have at least done it gradually. No matter how tasty the custards are, my friends and family, and I, will have to boycott the business until the owners come to a common sense. Looks like it's not just me either who got alerted; I have never seen the business so slow and empty when I drive by it recently.

Looking for a new job at Jay creamery if I ever get back from my seven day cruise ship to Alaska I leave to Seattle on August 31 leave on my seven day cruise ship. I have the list here and I took some landmark pictures so that way I don’t get lost or sidetracked. I know I’m kind of nervous about working here. Also excited because I need the money to go on expensive trips like to Miami Dubai Sega joyopolis Tokyo Japan, Los Angeles, California Italia, Paris, France, China Brazil, the cruise ship that I don’t have any casino money to play responsibly on the tournaments Because I I understand, I am good at scooping however, this ice cream shop is gonna be very different Howdy The manager smiled at me Hopefully, we can see if both sides can come to a resolution plus it’s right by my house I can skateboard on over. It seemed after Jesus Jay creamery. God has wonderful things in my life. I made a years resolution On my first trip to Disneyland for finding a new job. Because I need the money to go on these expensive vacations, plus I have my own sonic the hedgehog movie trailer. Please include Vicky Martinez if you see her she’s my best friend and we have to stick together. Also, please request do the hustle. The smile and they’ll come back.

J’s is excellent! Super nice people and great ice creams, custards, froyo, sorbets, etc! It’s an occasional, special treat because it’s a bit expensive (not as bad as Marble Slab or Cold Stone) but it’s worth it! The only downsides are the long menu full of deliciously difficult decisions (there are no bad ones) and the usually long line (lots of people know how good it is)! I usually get some kind of Concrete (like a DQ Blizzard) usually with like mocha ice cream, brownie bits, caramel, Oreos, etc! If you’re looking to save some money, get the biggest size and split it! It seems like it won’t be enough but it probably is (3 kids should be able to share a large)! I’d give the price 2 stars but everything else is 5 stars!

First time in this place. Would always drive by and see tons of people there… we usually go to menchies but finally decided to stop by and see the hype. Ordered 2 items and waited… the gentleman called me to advise me they didn’t charge me correctly and that i needed to take care of the remaining balance which i did, an extra $5. Waited another 3-5 minutes and received the first one…. We saw people walk up order and leave with their items… until we waited about 20-25 mintes i decided to walk up and ask about the order… the gentleman asks me which order to which i just ask if they forgot about it…. He said no that it may be sitting there maybe… so i know they forgot about it… instead of making an excuse it’s more simple to say yes we did we are sorry then to lie to the customer… i also run a small family business and believe me i commit mistakes but I own up to it even if i get in trouble…. Sadly was not a good first time and sadly won’t go back. Hopefully little things like that get worked out and talked about before it gets into a bigger issue that hurts...
