I'd like to share an awesome experience with Becky at Robert Lance. My wife and I recently celebrated 30 years of marriage. Our original wedding set (purchased at 18 years old with money from our 1989 minimum wage college jobs) was starting to show significant wear and a stone had fallen out of her engagement ring. We decided to have a "date day" on our anniversary going to several jewelry stores to consider an upgrade. We went to a few local and a few national chain stores in Lubbock and had varied experiences at each, but seemed to be bothering some and just "a job" for others.

Becky obviously had time for us and welcomed us into the store discussing the many options and helping my wife decide what might "work" for her. She seemed to truly enjoy showing the rings, the diamonds, and the options. She was never pushy and seemed happy to be included on our date. It was something closer to a Disney movie than anything else, with the quote of the day being when she asked an associate to "bring me ALL the diamonds" since we really didn't have an idea of the cut, size, or color we wanted.

I don't think I'll ever stray from this store. They obviously care about the customers and want to make sure things work out. Just about all jewelry is pretty, but the experience matters. I’ve been taking my jewelry here for a few months to get resized. I’m not sure how many of my rings I’ve brought in so far but it’s enough to make me confident in writing this review for others to see. I had been going to jewelers in Dallas and Vegas but locally I had only been going to Anderson’s but they closed and I needed somewhere new. I looked on Google and I was recommended Robert Lance Jewelers. I’m always a bit skeptical of taking my jewelry anywhere because you just never know. I started off with a ring I cared the least about then I brought in jewelry that had the most meaning to me. I think that should say a lot when you’re willing to trust your jewelry that has an immeasurable meaning and value. I’ve looked around the store too and they have some beautiful jewelry for sale as well. I had recently lost my everyday earrings that were just some plain gold ball studs. I came in and asked if they had any and they didn’t but I was able to purchase them from a catalog and received them either next day or in two days… super fast and my ears didn’t have to be naked. Now we are celebrating 35 years of marriage and my sweet husband wanted me to have the diamond of my and his dreams. From the minute I walked in the store Chris made me feel like a princess picking out my ring; we are not rich and I was dressed in my barn clothes but he treated me like a millionaire and patiently explained the cut, color, and quality of diamonds and I found the perfect ring.
