The manager refused service to me and my wife because I had my Trained Psychiatric Service Animal with me. This is a Violation of State and Federal Law. Per Texas law - Food Establishments (Texas Health and Safety Code, Section 437.023) If a service animal is accompanied by a person whose disability is not readily apparent, for purposes of admittance to a food service establishment, retail food store, or physical space occupied by another entity, a staff member of the establishment, store, or entity may only inquire about: whether the service animal is required because the person has a disability; and what type of work the service animal is trained to perform.
Patricia did not ask either of those 2 questions, but rather demanded I present a “Service animal ID card” which is not actually valid or legal in any 50 states since there is no official national service dog registry. Per FEDERAL LAW ADA Guidelines
An establishment may ask: Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
An establishment IS NOT allowed to: 1.Request any documentation that the dog is registered, licensed, or certified as a service animal 2.Require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person’s disability
That being said, I offered to show a letter from my mental health professional recommending my use of a service animal which the manager Patricia refused to see. The behavior and actions of the manager are inexcusable and...
Read moreRead moreOur experience was... Not what we expected. First: the food... I wish I stood up and took it back... I was just ssooo hungry and dealing with my son made me even more Shakey my Life Partner allowed me to go in and get my food without them... So I get my food and literally start scarfing it down 👇. Noticing it was barely not cold. Definitely not hot or even room temperature. I ate it anyway... My Life Partner got the nachos... The pulled pork nachos... Little did we know... It was a mistake; it is now the next day and he has been up since 4:15 am on the toilet... Might even miss work. :(. My son's food was mediocre. They made my LP's food and my sons fries and had it sit while the corn dog was being made which made the nachos cold and my sons fries marinated in its own grease which was gross... His cheese wasn't even melted, last thing STALE BAG OF CHIPS... Service: 🤦♀️ I KNOW that girl had a (ugh why you come in) attitude I wish I knew her name! I WAITED in the front cuz I was starving! I saw my food get ready and SIT in a "heated" window for over 5 minutes! No wonder my food was cold. 🤦♀️ My son went to get ketchup TWICE and both times no one acknowledged him... Atmosphere: it was VERY dirty took ages to find a table. This old guy buser? Maybe watching TV. All them dirty tables and he's watching TV. Everything looked as though it was not well kept... We will definitely not be going again. And I hope others read this comment and take their business...
Called in an order for puck up. We were told to pick up theough the drive thru. Ordered chicken fajita grande nachos and 2 large cokes. When the girl working fonally came to the window she told us our total was $32. Because the picture of the menu online was blurry it was difficult to see the price but we knew it wasn't that much. We paid and asked what was in the order, thinking maybe we were paying for someone else's. Instead of just telling us, the rude girl just said "I'll print out the receipt for you". When wr looked at the reciept she had charged us for 2 of the nachos unstead of one. Didnt say anything because we figured wed wat it later. Sje gave us the order and we had to ask for our drinks. We ordered large coles bit they looked medium. By that time i was so sick of her attitude that i didnt say anything. When we got gone, i realized my nachos jad ni cheese. Vary small pieces of chicken in bith orders and stale chips. I recommended to go there for dinner because we arent over there very often and the nachos USED to be amazing. When i called to let the manager know, the only thing he could offer was for us to drive all the way back into town for them to remake it. The whole point in calling it in and goung gome was so we wouldnt have to get out of the house again! We will never go there again. Ots not worth the time or money. $32 dien the drain for something my child could...
