Roni's Mac Bar - Lubbock — Restaurant in Lubbock

My husband and I went the afternoon of the grand opening. We were able to order on the digital kiosk right away, however we did have to wait a bit for our order. There were quite a few people there, so it was understandable. We had to wait for a table as well as there weren't very many in the restaurant either.

While waiting, we noted that the music was nice (more of pop music) and then a live performer played. Sadly, it was hard to hear the worker calling out orders because of this. I think having a microphone to call out orders on would be very helpful.

It was kind of annoying in such a small space as well, Door Dashers were hovering around the small pick up space to pick up to go orders. I hope in the future, they might have a separate area for those orders so that waiting dine in customers don't have to work around these individuals.

When we received our food and drink cups (had to wait to get those with the food), it looked amazing! As a pregnant woman watching caffeine intake, I had to get just water. There was not a tea option at the fountain machine. I wish there were.

I got the cheddar mac bowl with brisket, broccoli, and bbq sauce (pictured). My husband got a cheddar mac bowl with corn, tomatoes, and bacon. We both got a side of garlic toast with out orders. It tasted just as good as it looked and was pretty affordable (total ~$33 after taxes).

We had to go up to the order call out worker to get lids to take out leftovers home. That was another slight issue, as many people were doing this-adding more people standing around that area. Maybe they can go ahead and give lids with the orders when they are served or have extra lids near the drink station.
