The Grand - Family Dining & Cocktails — Restaurant in Ludington

Let's start, a restaurant or pub, kids get fed first. The waitress couldn't remember what people wanted to drink let alone remember to eat. Most waitresses would walk closer with a table of 12 to the person asking what they wanted, not stand at one end of the table and try to understand and write what they wanted down. The bathroom** cold, dirty, no toilet paper, shared bathroom. If bathroom is dirty just imagine what the kitchen looks like! Service was rude in so many ways and acted like they didn't know around the restaurant/pub or didn't care.

Outdated restaurant, the food was a 3 out of 10, most microwaved, pre heated foods. Fries tasted as if we're reheated in oil. The perch was nasty, and hard to eat, the Rath burger was dry and no flavor, the beef burrito looked awful, canned sauce, tomatoes and tasted like precooked beef. Then you have a chicken sandwhich that was ordered with no mayo and it comes with extra mayo for one of the kids. The cheese burger was dry with no flavor.

Just saying to who ever comes to town and eats here, be weary not the cleanest place, the establishment has been there for over 40 years and looks the same, my first time eating there and I'm 42, and lived here for 32 years, will never go back unless it gets updated and new management.

Terrible service but good food. When we came in at 7pm The hostess told us there was an hour wait for a table and the kitchen closed at 8pm. She said we could get on the list and order to go to make sure we got food. After we ordered our food we were told we could not have a table because we already ordered to go. They also would not let us wait inside for the food saying they were at capacity. After some people left we came back in to some empty tables and an empty bar at 7:50. We asked to wait at the bar and get a drink while we wait for the to go orders. They said we could sit but they were closed and would not serve us drinks. There were still two tables that hadn't even beem served. They were not leaving anytime soon. Why not pour us a drink for more revenue and more tips? Why tell us we could order to go and still wait for a table then cross us off the table list after we order? They should have just told us we could only order to go. We didn’t have much options on places to eat because of the holiday, so we picked here.. the looks of the place weren’t good but the reviews were so we tried it… if you like food from the Walmart frozen section then this is your place! I can’t believe how many good reviews it has… our chicken tenders were frozen from a bag. I rather of had McDonald’s if I’m being honest. The waitress never brought us our bill, we waited 10 minutes then just went and asked the bartender to check us out.. then we saw our waitress eating chips and salsa. Lol.
