Donut Palace — Restaurant in Lufkin

This is the best place I've found to get donuts and such for those mornings your sweet tooth is talking to you or you're in a hurry to get breakfast. There's just something about the recipe they use that makes their donuts stand out in flavor to me than any of the other places in our area. They do have a parking lot so you can come inside and look at the great selection of donuts and kolaches. You can sit down and enjoy your items once you've made your purchase. They do have a public restroom and a TV to watch if you like. Anytime I've decided to eat inside it's been very clean and not crowded as most people use the drive-thru. The drive-thru is very busy and the line appears to be to long to wait but they have their act together so don't let that discourage you and leave. The line flows very quickly. They're very fast inside as well so don't worry about being delayed because of long lines or several cars. With the store being located right off Timberland Dr you should have no problem finding "Donut Palace". They are open from 5 am to 12 pm 7...

It's a nice place. Their doughnuts aren't my favorite, but they're enjoyable. My wife really likes them and says they're the best in town. I'm a huge fan of their kolaches, though. I could eat a ton of these things when they're fresh and hot! So good! It's also one of the best doughnut places if you want to eat in; they have a large dining area. You can also go through their drive-thru, but I have a big complaint with that because they have no issues putting the ice cold drinks in with the hot kolaches. ARRGH! I keep going...

May not be a big deal but they gave me my order wrong. with missing food, so I went back to tell them I was missing on my order, and they said they didn’t “charge me for it” I added the sum of all my items before I went back to claim my missing order and what they charged me was in the total including my missing order. Shop literally stole. It’s a shame because they have such a good business and lots of people coming in. Do better. Stop lying and correct peoples orders if you did...
