This McDonald's is one of the newer style with two different ordering lines for food. This sounds like a great idea, but each time we have been through the drive-thru they always give us an incorrect order. Frequently the order-taker even though we go through order very carefully misses things, or ads things that we never wanted. This visit the staff ordered for hamburgers instead of the two we wanted. Instead of refunding us and taking the cheeseburgers back as we did not need two more they felt it was easier to offer us another food item like an apple pie. It was difficult for me to decide what I wanted instead as we already had a large order. We ended up asking for two more chicken strips because we had ordered six and we paid for four. I think they're trying really hard, they just don't have enough training for their staff to handle the amount of customers that go through their drive thru lines on a busy day. The best thing about this McDonald's is it's very clean, the inside is new, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff seems to be trying hard. Got told that they were waiting for me to come inside and pay. I told them I paid already through the app. He said that's for curbside delivery. I clearly understood since I put the curb number in my app and waited 20 minutes with the app telling me my order was on the way. He then proceeded to charge my boyfriend's card a second time and I didn't realize it until I got home and saw my email... two different confirmations for the same order and charged twice. Then to put the icing on the cake, I didn't get my ranch. Called the store and they didn't really care just told me I will have to come back and come inside the store to get a refund and provide proof that I was charged twice.
