I think, in terms of take out Chinese, this is maybe the best choice in Mt. Holly. The ramen was really pretty good, for being take out. The noodles and bok choy were perfectly cooked. I do wish they'd have said/offered a choice of toppings. The 🍥narutomaki was something I didn't care for. A punch of fresh herbs would have sent this over the top. The dumplings are good. Clearly, handmade. I didn't care for the veggie one. But the steamed ones were very good. Again, hit it with some fresh cilantro, and I think it would have been great. The chicken teriyaki was a fair and generous portion that got devoured. Overall, it's pretty good. The standards were a little better than good, and the stuff we branched out on were so close to being very good that I'd go back. FRESH HERBS!

Their new menu items are definitely a must try! The Mango snow ice is AMAZING! it's a little pricey but it's large, fresh and won't find it anywhere else. It's shaved ice/juice, fresh fruit and bobba balls. Even my boyfriend who doesn't try anything new loved it! Can't wait to try the other flavors! I also tried the coconut jelly milk tea; absolutely great flavor the jelly squares are a perfect addition. I will 100% be trying every flavor. Very happy with these new items!

I want to be fair and as objective as possible. I order pork chow mein. There was no seasoning and the food looked…. Really grey. It tasted the same it looked. I could really see any noodles. This has to be on a short list, worst food I’ve ever received. Oddly enough there are a couple of other Chinese places on that list. This cost like $25 bucks and it was awful. I’d of rated it lower, If I could. 1/10 will never do again.

First time order and the last time! Ok first I placed 2 orders and got 1 container of rice for me and my coworkers to divi up when I called about it I was rudely told by a women on the phone that I should have requested 2 containers because their restaurant combines it, really in these times of Covid people are not wanting to share or eat food from anyone! Now for the food, it was very disappointing, and as a world traveler this was the worst, not authentic at all. All I tasted was sweet gooey mess…Black pepper chicken was horrible, tasted like burnt fried breading, no chicken, no pepper no flavor swimming in a who know what sauce. I couldn’t even eat it. The whole meal was 🤮 Bad customer service!!...

Excellent local Chinese food! We ordered online using their website and our order (which was pretty large) was correct! I've been a long time customer of another local Chinese food restaurant just down the street but Heelok has really raised the bar. Having the convenience of ordering online (selecting how spicy I want my food) and it all being delicious at the same time is a reason why I will be coming back to this place. Not to mention, their staff was very friendly! Something you don't see just anywhere. Foodwise, I would recommend their General Tsos. I'd say it's the best in town..don't forget to select how spicy you want it! Delicious! Will definitely be a...
