Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lynchburg

We were in Lynchburg from out of state dropping our son off at college. When I asked about ice cream I was told that we had to visit the new Brusters ice cream shop.

What a treat! For me nothing compares with the local creameries we find back home, so I rarely find any other ice cream that I’d exclaim about….. which is what made today’s visit worthy of an online review! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because my experience here was fantastic!! We came on Mother's Day and the service was still quick and efficient. Husten was super patient with us as we tried flavors and decided what we wanted. The chocolate raspberry truffle was DELCIOUS. I only was able to taste it though because they were apparently out, but man was it good. The Campfire S'mores was also great. My parents both enjoyed the Banana Chocolate Chip made with real bananas.

Had the Chocolate Peanut Butter Buckeye. Generous portion, delicious flavor, rich smooth texture. Sampled the peach, amazing, the butter pecan (wow delicious!)
