Wow where do I start. We were a larger party (12) and prepared to spend several hundreds on a meal. As soon as our server came, she was not friendly, barely spoke and overall you could tell she did not want to help us. We were constantly having to ask for items, refills, etc 4 - 5 meals came cold, one NY strip had 60% gristle and fat. The plates were just handed out, never to a person or even told whose it was. We were never asked if the food was ok just seemed like she didn’t want to bother with us. We asked for a a manger who basically acted like she did not care whatsoever. Never apologized until we brought it up that she couldn’t even do that. She offered to take off a kids meal that was cold and uneatened and offered to “warm up” one meal that was cold. She then offered 50% off the steak that was mainly fat yet the ticket came and $6 off a $20 steak was deducted. One party paid with a gift card and a $20 bill for cover the .90 and they never brought back change and we had to ask for it and she acted like she didn’t know $20 was paid. The other tickets were completely swapped and messed up. A sever named Chelsea tried her best to help us at the end but she could not even get any support from her managers or co-workers. The ladies at the hostess stand did not even know the name of the GM when asked. Overall just a terrible experience and one that has made us not even want to go back. Picture is of one cold meal

I was hungry for prime rib; it was a Monday night so all of the local places were closed. I took a chance on the TX Roadhouse. The good. No wait. Staff was nice. The place was clean. It looked like every other TX Roadhouse. The Bad. My beer was cold and tasted like beer but the wait for it was painful. After about 10 minutes I was told something about changing out the keg. It did arrive before my meal so that was nice. The Ugly. The prime rib. It was more heavily seasoned than gas station beef jerky. I asked for it rare but I think at this TX Roadhouse it all comes out the same, covered in some salty over seasoned sauce. I have included a picture of what prime rib should look like as a reference for the guy warming stuff up in the back.

The food is mostly great except sometimes the meat isn’t cooked to exactly what I’ve asked for. But im not complaining and still gave all stars bc I do love eating here! And the service is usually good but once in a while like tonight for us..we all get that waitress/waiter who doesn’t quite pay enough attention and doesn’t really earn their tip. But it’s not the norm I wldnt say. And of course the atmosphere is what you wld expect..a lil noisy. But it’s due to the big crowds so u dont exactly hear ppls individual conversations just the din of the whole restaurant and tvs etc…I wld still recommend a good meal and drink at Texas Roadhouse Lynchburg Va anytime! Btw…b prepared for a short to moderate wait…especially weekends! Have fun!!

I called in to place a pick up order around 6:30, I order two meals and one dessert item. Due to me not be able to drive I had a friend pick up our order. After arriving back home I looked in the bag and I was missing my whole meal. We only received one meal with the dessert, 4 rolls and one butter for the bread. Everyone knows Texas Roadhouse is famous for bread and butter!!! And for two people could we at least of got 6 rolls and 4 butter. Anyway… I called right away to complain that I was missing a whole meal. I was put on hold for 5 minutes, then the manager on duty picked up the phone. I nicely explained that we were missing a meal, the first thing she said was “well did you not check your bag before leaving”. I said, I had someone else pick up the food for me. So no I did not check the bag until the food arrived at my house. She then says well did you want to come pick it up, well yes I said. She said we will make it for you and it should be ready in 10-15 minutes. Then I said I feel like we deserve a refund or something for the inconvenience, mind you it’s pouring down rain, hailing on top of Saturday night traffic and all the LU college kids back in town! She then said you should of checked your bag. So again I said I would like a refund or a gift card for this inconvenience. She said ok your food will be ready soon and we hung up. My friend left to go pick up my food, when she arrives, the manager remembers her face and said make sure you always check your bags before leaving. With an attitude, then my friend asked for some short of refund, she then storms over to the register and hands her a refund for the missing meal. To say the least the was very poor customer service from management, she was very rude and inconsiderate. She never once apologized about the situation. My friend then comes back to my home and we sat down to eat, my steak was chewy and had like to no flavor at all. My baked potato wasn’t cooked all the way and my other side was broccoli and I received 5 small broccoli crowns . Anyway…… I’ve lived here my whole life and we eat here frequently. But after the serve I received tonight, I’ll never go back again to the...

If I could give zero stars I definitely would. We visit this location frequently and have never had any issues until tonight. Upon arriving we were taken to be seated immediately but informed their were no fresh baked rolls left for the evening this being a hour and a half before their closing time. After being seated we waited for someone to come take our drink order with no luck. My husband went back to the front to check with the hostess to see if we had someone for our table. More time goes by still with no one to assist us my husband then asks the waitress right behind us for help she states it’s not her table and will get someone to help us. More time goes by and this sweet waitress I didn’t catch her name from a completely different area of the restaurant said she would be glad to help us which we greatly appreciated. She took our drink order and comes by to tell me the drink I ordered was out, I explained I understood it was not her fought but I would need to speak to a manager. The manager Bryan comes over by this time we have been their 40 minutes. I simply asked could I ask what was going on this evening he looks at me and says you have been waiting a whole 10 minutes I’ll comp your appetizer will that make you happy. I’ve never been talked to so disrespectful in my life and I work in customer service. I feel it was very unprofessional on Bryan’s part the way he handled the matter considering we had been their 40 minutes not 10. By this point my appetite was completely ruined and I had no desire to even eat my dinner by the time we got it, we asked for boxes so that we could just leave as soon as the food arrived. I seriously think this location needs a new manager if he talks to his customers this way and doesn’t care about the concerns they have I can only imagine how the employees are treated. I have no intention of returning to this location or at least not for a very long time due to the series of events that took place their tonight. I do however wish to think the waitress we had that didn’t even have to wait on us she tried very hard and apologized over and over for the behavior...

I don't like to judge a place on one or two bad experiences, but when your dropping big money every time you visit it's hard not to pay attention to details. First off wait time was 15 to 25 minutes, which is not busy at 7:45p on a Friday night. Actual wait was 20 minutes according to txt notification. So, to make this as short as possible here it is in a nutshell... Table was sticky, there was a 1/8 deep puddle of something under our feet, the bench was ripped (damp, didn't notice that till we stood up), and the silverware and napkin were damp. Now to the waiter, friendly and absent. We seen him A LOT, just not doing any real waitressing. He spent most of the time chatting at the front entrance with staff. He took order, brought drinks and refill hour later, brought second basket of rolls (which I'll get too), and to go cup(s) (1st one had a large crack in the bottom edge). ok this was the order Cheeseburger fries, 11oz sirloin salad bake tat, BBQ chick mac mash tat. cactus blossom. Initial bread was 15min, blossom was 45(ex,ex,ex crispy), salad 46min, the second requested bread was 55min from those who didn't want the blossom, the rest minus the fries was 68 mins, and finally a basket of fries that i wouldn't give a homeless person made it out at 75 mins. So that's to say my burger came alone. The food had been sitting for a while, burger bun soggy on bottom, tuff on top, her steak ordered mid rare was black as coal and smaller than a dinner roll, I've seen better mac and cheese from an instant cup and the cheese and butter on mash tators wasn't even slight melted. We had everyone in our section come in behind us eat and leave by the time we got our meal. I had to get someone else to get us a to go box for the kid's food, which they insisted on speaking to him about getting the to go cup. I won't get into the little story with the hole in the cup and the replacement. (I assume his attitude was reflecting his 4$ tip at that point) Sadly this isn't the first time I've gotten this service here, but unfortunately, it's probably going to be the last. So, there's my EXTRA 0.02$...
