Gf and I were the first of a party of six to arrive at D+B at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. (The Second to last Saturday before Christmas which was in a week.) As we walked in we noticed how loud it was. The music was expected to be loud but we literally had to shout in order to talk to the employee that stands just inside the door to provide information. We learned a few things from this employee. 1. There was going to be a long wait for a table at the restaurant, because there was a 200 person party reservation at 7pm. They would not be seating us because we were a party of 6 and they were only seating parties of 4. She said we could "try" to get on the list to wait, but they probably wouldn't seat us. She did tell us that there was open seating in any of the white chairs at the bar. She was giving a big, just come back on another night vibe. She explained to us how to get game cards from the kiosks that were in the lobby. We decided to give getting a table a shot. Made our way towards the bar and the restaurant expecting packed tables and a line of people to be seated. Quite the opposite, there were giant booths empty, the bar I would say had about 50 to 60 seats at different high top tables available, some of those tables had been seated. We looked towards the bar and saw a few white chairs available. Behind the bar was the main seating area mostly empty. We were confused. We talked to the restaurant hostess and got the same story. She too was very blah and really didn't encourage us to go and play games or drink in the bar while we wait. We had to ask if there was a list to be put on to wait. It was just all so unwelcoming. So, we got put on the list and headed to the bar to wait 2 hours for the text saying our table was ready. At the bar, things got a lot better as far as the service. The bartenders were busy but attentive and helpful and nice! We ordered a few drinks and food. They were both really good. I would say about 35 to 45 mins had passed and we got a text saying our table was ready. No where near 2 hours. I went down to the hostess station again and was told to follow the employee guiding me to our table. She literally took off up this ramp into the bar, left me behind a big group of people that she had squeezed through and then once I caught up she pointed at a table for 4 from about 30 ft. away and said, there is your table over there. I was like...okay, that's for 4 people not 6. She looked aggravated and just pointed to a bigger table and just pointed at it said you can have that one. Turned around and walked away. So meh. We all ordered food and more drinks. Service was good and came from the kitchen very quick and was all tasty. Our food and drink bill was around $160 before tip. We could conveniently order game cards from our server. We opted for 2 400 credit cards for $60 dollars each. The server then added the cards to the food bill at which point it asked us to leave a tip based on the card purchase and food combined. Which was $277 dollars. So a 20% tip was $55 bucks. Total bill for the night $332. BEWAREOF THIS! I hate this tactic so much. Your tip is going to be more because of the cards. Tip on the food and service but not the cards. D+B should do better by not being sneaky about this. The rest of the evening was fun playing the games. All the games let you earn tickets that you can save and collect and redeem for items. The nicer the items the more tickets you need. I got D+B juggling balls, a LED light cup, a web cam blocker clip and a laffy taffy for $60 bucks basically. I thought the offering of items they had were pretty good, but you are going to have to spend a lot of money to get the better stuff. I hit the restroom on the way out and it was clean and functioning. Overall it was a fun night. I just think D+B should do some customer service training with their younger employees who are first to greet customers and be more welcoming and get people to hang out and wait. Would have been a 4-5 star visit had we had felt less pushed away in the beginning....
Read moreBE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN PURCHASING A PLAYER CARD, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AT ALL!
Saturday 11/02/24 around 5pm I met my friend and we went to the bar top at Dave & Busters in Lynnwood, WA for some drinks, food & conversation. The service and food was ok. Being that this was my first time ever at a Dave & Busters we decided to try out some games. I purchased a player card on the App and after I purchased the card I realized I accidently chose the highest player card amount ($110) So I figured ok lets try and spend it since i'm here. It was pretty busy in this location at this time so after walking around for 30 minutes trying to find a game to play we didnt end up playing a single game. My friend and I decided to call it a night, but before I left I was able to find a manager to see If I could get a refund of somekind since I mistakenly spent way more money then I should have. I talked to a cashier who then passed me to a lead who then passed me to a manager. The manager helped me about by giving me the phone number to customer service, since I purchased a player card on the app they couldnt assist me any further in-store. I called customer service on Monday 11/04/24 around 2pm and talked with a nice rep named Jesse, he told me that he would send me an email with information they needed and if I filled it out they can get the process started on my return;

After I filled all this out and sent back to Jesse he called me back and told me they cannot give me a refund.
Sadly, I will never be going back to any Dave & Busters again and I would urge anyone to be very cautious when purchasing any large amount on a player card as they just want your money and dont care about...
Read moreDetailed review with some details based on complaints here that I can give information about based on my experiences and knowledge about this place. 🙂
Host stand is hardworking and does their best to keep up with seating and assistance with questions. On days where its extremely busy such as game nights, they do their best to keep the flow going. Any complaints about the wait being too long is excepted for any popular go-to restaurants or busy nights for games and events.
Servers are as well hard workers who have to go back and forth keeping up with their guests and serving. Generally really friendly people and eager to interact and help. The place is rather big so it’s also expected they’d be a bit busy
Food is amazing, especially the seasonal menu offerings that the cooks in the kitchen work hard to make and prepare the food to meet expectations. The kitchen is always so busy and are doing their best. Food ranges from $10-$30 per meal typically. For the cheaper meals they serve large portions that makes it worth it! 🤤
Game techs and Winners Circle workers are quick and help when possible. If there are issues with the games, ALWAYS communicate this rather than shrugging it off and complaining. They will help you ☺️! Card issues, games issues, they will do what they can to resolve. Games are used by a range of 300-1000 people per a day!! It’s expected for the games to have small errors from time to time due to the mass use. Best we can do as humans is let techs know and if points are taken they will issue points back for free to make up for this issue!
Parties mentioned last minute usually get sat as soon as possible, even on the days with a mass amount of people coming in. Hosts try to be as efficient as possible to get bigger last minute/notice parties to get a table. They provide a party room that fits about 100 people, and offer a party pack which can be discussed with managers! If you make calls with the manager beforehand they are able to offer much more to enjoy! 🤩🥳
They have a happy hour where drinks are 50% off every Monday-Friday from 4-7pm, and late night happy hour from Sunday to Thursday from 9pm to closing time. Not only that, but on Wednesdays they do half off for games! Usual price ranges from 3-8 chips, so i goes down to to half of the original price the game has, allowing you to grind harder on ticket-focused or general games! 😄
Bonus: Foods I’d recommend are the voodoo pasta with a hint of spice and the deserts (big chocolate daddy, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate and caramel filled churros)! 🍰🍫🍲
My take on this overall is that there are issues that occur as expected for ANY restaurant. While the reviews complain about business and waits, this is expected to have 10-20 minute waits on occasions if it’s busy. Yes, it may be longer than that in this restaurant due to football games, so my advice would be to put yourself on a reservation or waitlist ahead of time. Once more 300-1000 people come here daily, with a higher wait time on weekends due to the mass amount of people coming in. If you have issues, communicate and be understanding, and you will have a good time and staff will do their best to offer service! ☺️ This place is pretty awesome and while it is new, its growing and getting...
