Let me start off by saying WOW. This is going to be a long review, so bear with me. I will do the second time I visited first. I will say that the people out repairing the games and taking out the trash are way more attentive and cordial (THANK YOU) I am doing this review a few months after, going off notes and memory. So we took the kids here to play games and get some food. We played for a few hours, then wanted to eat as well as keep playing. Unfortunately, we were told the tables in the gaming area are closed, and we would need to sit in the dining area. So we played until happy hour started, then I went up front to get us a table. When I went to sit down on the bench side, the seat looked glossy or oily. So I used one of the napkins on the table to wipe it (picture included). I am glad I did not sit on that. About 2 minutes later, the rest of the family joined me. There was only one other table sitting in the dining area. We sat staring at menu's for 19 minutes before someone came out to greet us and take our drink order. We were ready to order, so we did so as well at that time. We all went to wash our hands before eating. I started heading toward the bathroom and was turned around. There is no way to access it, we had to walk all the way around to get to it. While I was walking toward the kitchen portion, I noticed at least a dozen tables with used dishes on them. I was shocked because the entire location was very slow. I am guessing they had an employee function because I saw people in a back room? After returning to the table, our server seemed to know the people at the other table. He kept walking over and talking with them, at least my wife thought so. I then started a timer to see how long it would take for our food because I didn't see our server turn in the ticket. The food finally arrived in just over 28 minutes. I figure it was maybe 5 min. Washing hands or so. This puts our ticket time at 33 minutes. With only one other table (that already had food) I can't imagine what a Friday or Saturday night at 6pm would be like. My burger was just warm, super dry and overcooked. I guess they cooked it for 30 min. Everyone else said the food was just ok. Waiter never came back over to see if we needed anything, but visited the nearby table many times. After eating, we were sitting and talking. There was no space on the table, so we piled up the dishes to make space. The waiter finally came over with the bill, but did not take any of the plates piled up. A few minutes later he came back to collect the bill. This was the fastest part of the service. I wish I could add my first visit to this, but this review is so long. As shocking as this was, my first visit was worse, and the employee admitted her drug use to us :( I wanted to work my way to the signed baseball, but sadly i think this was my last visit here. I was so excited to come here after seeing commercials, and was fairly disappointed. If they closed the bar and restaurant, made this self service with vending machines, it would probably be better.

I didn’t really want to do this, until I got home and realized our receipt was definitely off. My first 2 visits was actually great, on busy days so slower service is expected… but it wasn’t nearly as terrible as yesterday. Yesterday on the 4th of July around 5-6 pm, it was not busy at all. It was actually very dead. It only took us barely 10 minutes to get a table. We had a party of 7 so everyone split the checks into 4 ahead of time. I ordered some food before using the restroom, and looking upon the menu I seen more items I wanted to try. I waited until our server would make contact with us again to try to finish my order (I only ordered fries & alcohol drink, they removed the precious food items I tried so I quickly skimmed) She dropped our drinks off after 20 mins but quickly left before I could try to ask her for another order. I used to be a server so I understand, but after waiting over 40 minutes to make contact with a server, and watching her tend over 4 times to the ONE table by us, who got seated a bit AFTER us…. It’s hard not to make assumptions when our table were black/hispanic and the other family were a white family with the same party size… it was almost as if she seemed scared or intimidated to make any contact with us? 🤔 I decided to ask the bartender. The bartender told the server that I was waiting to place another order but again waited another 20-30 mins before my table literally had to call her over…. By this time I’m visibly irritated and definitely making “assumptions.” The service decided to pick up much faster after this, which I felt kinda bad about. The ribs we ordered were cold to the bone too, but the cook made a fresh batch and was apologetic and sweet. Before ordering ANYTHING, we specifically asked about the Dave & Busters promo 50% off food if you sign up as a member…. She stated it will apply after I use my number to check out. I went to use bathroom again and had my fiance pay, using my number…. to see my receipt with my rewards number coming out to show there was NO promo applied… $104 total + tax & tip on a bill that should’ve been originally $48.74????? I hate to be a “Karen” but this was beyond ridiculous for a SLOW day and I hope my “assumptions” aren’t true…

Never been before so took a date here to check out. I should have left right when waitress said she would have to check if we could sit in a booth a few tables away instead of literally right in front of the massive blinding TV screen wall as first guided. Totally overpriced food. Don’t get the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. They were like insanely oily. Had those 15$, 2 “happy hour” mix drinks 5$ each?, a quesadilla 13$ and a dessert 10$, and bill ended up being 71$. Insane. What threw me off was the super weird process when came time to pay the bill a different guy came over with a digital pad and wouldn’t leave. I asked for a moment thinking he’d leave it like most places do, but he took the thing with him then came back 2 min later. I was tiny bit buzzed, but mostly shocked at the checkout process and my fault for not looking it over fully. I think we ordered during happy hour but checked out when it was maybe over and the prices changed which isn’t fair, that, or they added on mandatory gratuity, or charged for another drink I didn’t have. I still tipped on top of that too bc original server was great. Also my fault for not complaining about entree after first bite or two. Those Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were awful, glistening w oil and chemical aftertaste and the queso didn’t even taste like cheese. l just got the desert to get taste out of mouth. Cheesy and tacky check out process for sure. I’ve never seen like that before. The guy brings and holds up the wireless checkout pad and says out loud click here for tip, exposes the whole table to the bill amount owed and puts you on the spot for the tip amount. I was so surprised and annoyed I barely looked it over. Over 80$ total after I clicked on tip which was probably in addition to mandatory added on the bill or something. It’s bugging me. Also, they should fire whoever picked the arcade games too, it’s like 70% tacky kids arcade games. Not much good stuff for adults. I’ll never go back. Restaurant greeter was bad. Waiter was great. But am 1 and done w this place.

Gf and I were the first of a party of six to arrive at D+B at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. (The Second to last Saturday before Christmas which was in a week.) As we walked in we noticed how loud it was. The music was expected to be loud but we literally had to shout in order to talk to the employee that stands just inside the door to provide information. We learned a few things from this employee. 1. There was going to be a long wait for a table at the restaurant, because there was a 200 person party reservation at 7pm. They would not be seating us because we were a party of 6 and they were only seating parties of 4. She said we could "try" to get on the list to wait, but they probably wouldn't seat us. She did tell us that there was open seating in any of the white chairs at the bar. She was giving a big, just come back on another night vibe. She explained to us how to get game cards from the kiosks that were in the lobby. We decided to give getting a table a shot. Made our way towards the bar and the restaurant expecting packed tables and a line of people to be seated. Quite the opposite, there were giant booths empty, the bar I would say had about 50 to 60 seats at different high top tables available, some of those tables had been seated. We looked towards the bar and saw a few white chairs available. Behind the bar was the main seating area mostly empty. We were confused. We talked to the restaurant hostess and got the same story. She too was very blah and really didn't encourage us to go and play games or drink in the bar while we wait. We had to ask if there was a list to be put on to wait. It was just all so unwelcoming. So, we got put on the list and headed to the bar to wait 2 hours for the text saying our table was ready. At the bar, things got a lot better as far as the service. The bartenders were busy but attentive and helpful and nice! We ordered a few drinks and food. They were both really good. I would say about 35 to 45 mins had passed and we got a text saying our table was ready. No where near 2 hours. I went down to the hostess station again and was told to follow the employee guiding me to our table. She literally took off up this ramp into the bar, left me behind a big group of people that she had squeezed through and then once I caught up she pointed at a table for 4 from about 30 ft. away and said, there is your table over there. I was like...okay, that's for 4 people not 6. She looked aggravated and just pointed to a bigger table and just pointed at it said you can have that one. Turned around and walked away. So meh. We all ordered food and more drinks. Service was good and came from the kitchen very quick and was all tasty. Our food and drink bill was around $160 before tip. We could conveniently order game cards from our server. We opted for 2 400 credit cards for $60 dollars each. The server then added the cards to the food bill at which point it asked us to leave a tip based on the card purchase and food combined. Which was $277 dollars. So a 20% tip was $55 bucks. Total bill for the night $332. BEWAREOF THIS! I hate this tactic so much. Your tip is going to be more because of the cards. Tip on the food and service but not the cards. D+B should do better by not being sneaky about this. The rest of the evening was fun playing the games. All the games let you earn tickets that you can save and collect and redeem for items. The nicer the items the more tickets you need. I got D+B juggling balls, a LED light cup, a web cam blocker clip and a laffy taffy for $60 bucks basically. I thought the offering of items they had were pretty good, but you are going to have to spend a lot of money to get the better stuff. I hit the restroom on the way out and it was clean and functioning. Overall it was a fun night. I just think D+B should do some customer service training with their younger employees who are first to greet customers and be more welcoming and get people to hang out and wait. Would have been a 4-5 star visit had we had felt less pushed away in the beginning....

BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN PURCHASING A PLAYER CARD, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AT ALL!

Saturday 11/02/24 around 5pm I met my friend and we went to the bar top at Dave & Busters in Lynnwood, WA for some drinks, food & conversation. The service and food was ok. Being that this was my first time ever at a Dave & Busters we decided to try out some games. I purchased a player card on the App and after I purchased the card I realized I accidently chose the highest player card amount ($110) So I figured ok lets try and spend it since i'm here. It was pretty busy in this location at this time so after walking around for 30 minutes trying to find a game to play we didnt end up playing a single game. My friend and I decided to call it a night, but before I left I was able to find a manager to see If I could get a refund of somekind since I mistakenly spent way more money then I should have. I talked to a cashier who then passed me to a lead who then passed me to a manager. The manager helped me about by giving me the phone number to customer service, since I purchased a player card on the app they couldnt assist me any further in-store. I called customer service on Monday 11/04/24 around 2pm and talked with a nice rep named Jesse, he told me that he would send me an email with information they needed and if I filled it out they can get the process started on my return;

We hope this email finds you well. We are reaching out to you from Dave and Busters regarding a recent transaction that requires further investigation. In order to assist you more thoroughly, we kindly request some additional information related to your purchase.

To proceed with our investigation, we kindly ask you to provide us with the following details:

Location of Purchase: Please specify the Dave and Busters location where the transaction took place. This will help us identify the specific venue and assist you accordingly.

Date of Visit: Kindly provide us with the exact date of your visit to Dave and Busters. This will help us narrow down the search and locate the transaction in question.

Screenshot of Receipt: We kindly request you to provide us with a clear screenshot or scanned copy of the receipt for the transaction. This will enable us to verify the details and investigate the matter more effectively.

Last 4 Digits of Card Used for Purchase: For security purposes, please provide us with the last four digits of the card used for the transaction. This information will help us identify the specific payment method used.

Card Type (Visa? MasterCard?): Kindly specify the type of card used for the transaction (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.). This will assist us in narrowing down the search and ensuring accurate investigation.

Card Expiration: Please provide us with the card expiration (month & year)

Screenshot of amount deducted from your bank account: This will substantiate the charged amount was drawn from your account and should be found within our company transaction records (Please note that we are unable to refund or cancel charges that are still pending. Pending charges must be addressed with your bank or financial institution)

Once we have received this information, I will be better able to assist in the matter. We thank you for all of your assistance and look forward to your reply.

After I filled all this out and sent back to Jesse he called me back and told me they cannot give me a refund.

Sadly, I will never be going back to any Dave & Busters again and I would urge anyone to be very cautious when purchasing any large amount on a player card as they just want your money and dont care about...

Detailed review with some details based on complaints here that I can give information about based on my experiences and knowledge about this place. 🙂

Host stand is hardworking and does their best to keep up with seating and assistance with questions. On days where its extremely busy such as game nights, they do their best to keep the flow going. Any complaints about the wait being too long is excepted for any popular go-to restaurants or busy nights for games and events.

Servers are as well hard workers who have to go back and forth keeping up with their guests and serving. Generally really friendly people and eager to interact and help. The place is rather big so it’s also expected they’d be a bit busy

Food is amazing, especially the seasonal menu offerings that the cooks in the kitchen work hard to make and prepare the food to meet expectations. The kitchen is always so busy and are doing their best. Food ranges from $10-$30 per meal typically. For the cheaper meals they serve large portions that makes it worth it! 🤤

Game techs and Winners Circle workers are quick and help when possible. If there are issues with the games, ALWAYS communicate this rather than shrugging it off and complaining. They will help you ☺️! Card issues, games issues, they will do what they can to resolve. Games are used by a range of 300-1000 people per a day!! It’s expected for the games to have small errors from time to time due to the mass use. Best we can do as humans is let techs know and if points are taken they will issue points back for free to make up for this issue!

Parties mentioned last minute usually get sat as soon as possible, even on the days with a mass amount of people coming in. Hosts try to be as efficient as possible to get bigger last minute/notice parties to get a table. They provide a party room that fits about 100 people, and offer a party pack which can be discussed with managers! If you make calls with the manager beforehand they are able to offer much more to enjoy! 🤩🥳

They have a happy hour where drinks are 50% off every Monday-Friday from 4-7pm, and late night happy hour from Sunday to Thursday from 9pm to closing time. Not only that, but on Wednesdays they do half off for games! Usual price ranges from 3-8 chips, so i goes down to to half of the original price the game has, allowing you to grind harder on ticket-focused or general games! 😄

Bonus: Foods I’d recommend are the voodoo pasta with a hint of spice and the deserts (big chocolate daddy, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate and caramel filled churros)! 🍰🍫🍲

My take on this overall is that there are issues that occur as expected for ANY restaurant. While the reviews complain about business and waits, this is expected to have 10-20 minute waits on occasions if it’s busy. Yes, it may be longer than that in this restaurant due to football games, so my advice would be to put yourself on a reservation or waitlist ahead of time. Once more 300-1000 people come here daily, with a higher wait time on weekends due to the mass amount of people coming in. If you have issues, communicate and be understanding, and you will have a good time and staff will do their best to offer service! ☺️ This place is pretty awesome and while it is new, its growing and getting...
