I have been a Starbucks customer for over 18 years and never before now (and in the last 3-4 years) has their customer service, coffee quality, and food quality been worse. They are prioritizing anything and everything over the premium customer walking into their doors and up to their counters. When I visit a Starbucks and go inside for a purchase (BTW because I had to because the drive thru line was 15 cars long) I expect three things for the prices I am paying, high quality food/drink, high quality service, and the premium experience I am paying for. I don't care about the Millennial's and their stupid phone ordering Apps skipping ahead in line or the drive thru I want my coffee, I want it hot, and I want it in less than 20 minutes in-store before my food cools off. Either hire more motivated employees and train them properly (the two ladies making hot coffee looked totally lost today and clearly were not trained enough to provide quality fast service) or I am done with Starbucks. I ordered a triple grande toffee nut latte in the drive thru the other day and 15 minutes into my commute I took a sip and it was a chai tea latte. The situation has grown to be totally ridiculous. I will not pay premiums for this coffee much more if this continues. I am leaving my feedback here on Google because Starbucks doesn't even allow online store feedback to be registered on their website anymore; I can gather why this is, they don't really care about customers any more and it shows.
Update: I left Starbucks over 1 year ago and don't miss it at all. I now go to a locally owned coffee shop "Novi Coffee" where they roast all their coffee onsite daily. Read moreI just took my girlfriend here to get a drink on her lunch break from work and we pull up to place an order & wait for a good 30 seconds with no response. After patiently waiting I proceeded to say “hello”. The store manager Kara yells very loud back to me in a disrespectful tone to wait and then order, so we order a drink and pull through to the window. As soon as we get to the window Kara slides it open dramatically and starts speaking in a high pitched passive aggressive tone, she started to rant about how we have to wait to be spoken to, which i thought was strange initially, but she then looked at my girlfriend who is a grown woman and proceeded to say “are you in high school girl” and my girlfriend looked very offended and says no, even though she has no place to respond to such questions. The store manager Kara then says “are you skipping school today, you shouldn’t be skipping school” I step in and say why are you talking to her like that, that was very rude and you have no place to say anything to her or about her, Kara then replies “ please please, would you like to talk to my corporate manager, they won’t do anything, also I’m just going to give you a refund.” She kept being rude and gave the money back even though we never requested that and she told us to leave. I have never experienced something like this in my life, my girlfriend has been bullied and belittled all through her life because of how short she is and how she looks, I didn’t even know a simple drive to surprise her and get her a drink at Starbucks would end with such an unprofessional & unacceptable outcome. Read moreI went here a few weeks ago for a simple Frappuccino and a dessert that I ordered through their mobile app. I’ve been to many Starbucks and most have everything I want and the app will say if it’s in stock or not. This location had everything in stock on the app, but when visited, they were all out of brownies, every kind of cookie, pastry, and were even out of large cups for my Frappuccino that they had to put it into a smaller one and smooshed it.
