Because of severe, unwarranted rudeness as a GrubHub driver you put on ME today, I'm going to school you on customer service:
Greet EVERY customer, nod/wave to those waiting. It's acknowledging them, a KEY to validation -- CRUCIAL to good customer service.
If an employee doesn't know about an order, say "I will ask" (with a smile and politeness) -- then DO it!! DO NOT IGNORE US. I know very well that many GH/DD orders are DONE when I arrive, so I say "GH ORDER" WHEN I arrive. Those customers matter too! They're waiting.
When a customer gets upset NOT being acknowledged AND not told about the order asked about FOUR TIMES (NO RESPONSE) like me, you don't get TOLD OFF by another (the tiny, always frowning brunette) who's IGNORANT of the total interaction. She snapped: "Don't yell at our workers." (I DIDN'T!) You ask the customer "What can I help with??"
2 workers were rude, the other a petite blonde from Becker's next door. Mentioned a GrubHub order, she was in Cottage Inn kitchen. DIDN'T say she's w Becker's, just ignored me. They don't have "BECKER'S" on their backs FYI. AND it's reasonable to assume she might know about orders since Becker's staff go into Cottage Inn kitchen. I asked multiple times to others (mostly NOT staffing the counter w a line of customers) about the order.
I said to the Becker's server, "Why didn't you answer re: the order? You could have told me you didn't work there, or asked another worker to help," the other (CI employee) snapped at me. I asked MULTIPLE times politely and they REFUSED to answer, even in hearing distance.

Then I got a large ham pineapple and 2 slices had nothing on it! What is going on with your quality control? Jeez. Then the large Hawaiian pizza i got (toppings were supposed to be pineapple, ham and bacon) and the bacon was just on 2 pieces. then on the large BLT pizza I got the lettuce was brown! We took the lettuce off and had to put our lettuce on!. It’s just sad that every time I order here I feel like I’m just throwing money out. Read moreI absolutely love cottage inn pizza. It’s one of my favorites and I’ve ordered from many different locations. Unfortunately, this is why I have to stop at 4 stars with this location. 90% of the time at least some aspect of my order is wrong. I’m afraid to change anything on the “gourmet pizza” setting because it is a guarantee it won’t get done. Add something extra? You won’t see it....but you’ll pay for it. And who taught you how to put on the “everything” crust at this location? Terribly too thick and salty. At first I would call and tell them, but it has been so consistently incorrect I don’t bother anymore. Writing this review in hopes someone can put these issues in check and improve. Please.
