Woow Sushi — Restaurant in Lyons Township

I had ordered from here for delivery and it was delicious. This time we made the drive out to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Did not disappoint.

Nice sized space with ample comfortable seating ( it booth and table) but did get busier during our visit although I did not see anyone having to wait for a table. Staff was super nice and more than willing to offer suggestions. Decor was a bit flashy but not obnoxiously so.

We came for sushi but my son in not quite at sushi level yet so I love that their menu has lots on non sushi options. Food was generous portions with really good pricing, especially if you have had sushi downtown.

Decent drink menu which has options for most tastes.

Mochi for dessert was great - I love mochi and they definitely had lots of options to choose from!

Only thing to note is that there is an 18% service charge. It may have started this on the menu, although I did not notice it. We're usually overly generous tippers so this isn't an issue really (we tipped additional to the service charge) - just something to note if you visit.

Overall - 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be returning and may make this our regular...

We absolutely love Woow Sushi – it’s become our weekly tradition! We usually come here once a week, and it’s hands down our favorite spot for comfort food and a calm dining experience.

Their Chicken Fried Rice, Godzilla Wrap, and Pad Thai are our go-to dishes – perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and always consistent. You can tell they care about quality. The portions are generous, and every bite tastes fresh and satisfying. It’s one of those places where you can try something new or stick to your favorites and never be disappointed.

One of the things we appreciate most is the atmosphere. It’s peaceful, never too loud, and the lighting is perfectly dimmed – no harsh spotlights, just a cozy vibe that makes you feel relaxed. It’s a place where you can actually talk, unwind, and feel at home.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and they always remember us, which adds a personal touch we really appreciate. Whether we dine in or take out, the quality is top-notch every time.

Got to the Restaurant at 8:10pm. They told us they close at 9:30, ok fine. The waitress kept "Reminding" Us Throughout our meal that they "close at 9:30". It was 8:36 and she had Reminded us AT LEAST 5 or 6 times at that point. She then brought our check and boxes for our food ( I hadn't even touched my main course yet) and came back to the table 5 more times!!! We had a $10 coupon (as we'd Never been there before) they deducted the coupon which came to $2 less than our original bill??? Our waitress stood there and WAITED for us to pay, I ended up paying $70 n my friend $38 for a $77 dinner!! We get out of the Restaurant... It's only 9: 12pm!!!! They weren't even CLOSED YET and they were kicking us out!!!!! Worst service ever, food wasn't cooked the way I wanted.. the kicker... We BOTH were up Sick ALL NIGHT from the food!!! Never Go There Again!!!!! I spent A LOT of Money to NOT...
