👋🏻 Hey fellow Google Maps users! ☺️ I went to Classic Cinemas La Grange Theatre on 7/02/24 (Tuesday) as part of a family outting. We saw Inside Out 2. By the way, let me start off by saying that they have $6 Tuesdays, so if you want to go to movies and on a budget, I highly recommend going on Tuesdays if you can. They’re also currently doing $2 movie days on certain Wednesdays at 10 am for the summer, where they have a variety of animated movies playing.
🍿 Food: We ended up getting 2 medium sized popcorns. I’m not a popcorn person, but I just feel like popcorn at a movie theater hits different compared to the microwaveable ones you can make at home. Based on the prices, I would say it’s more affordable than other theaters like AMC or Regal. Any size popcorn or drinks are FREE refills.
😌 Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere. All the theaters offered reclining seating and it felt so nice. The reclining seats also offered a heater/cooler type of feature for your seat. They have art work around the movie theater of old school Hollywood actors and it was giving old school theater vibes.
⭐️ Customer Service: I really enjoyed the customer service. We actually ended up showing late to the time the movie started (1 pm showtime). I believe we had about 30 minutes to an hour left of the movie. I felt super bad, but traffic was really bad during the afternoon for some reason. My boyfriend ended up asking this nice gentleman who was wearing a blue & white stripped button up. I can only assume that he was the manager of this theater. He was extremely accommodating to us and ended up getting us tickets for a later time that day (2:30 pm showtime). This absolutely made my day as I have been really wanting to watch this movie. Thank you so much & I appreciate you for understanding!!! This man deserves a raise pronto!
🎞️ Movie: The movie we watched was Inside Out 2. Unfortunately, I have yet to seen the first Inside Out movie, so I didn’t really have or set up any expectations for the movie. I thought the movie was very wonderful. New emotions got introduced since Riley is growing up and becoming a teenager. They also have a post-credit scene which by the way is absolutely hilarious although you do have to wait until after all the credits are done. I think it’s safe to say that Disney is infamous for doing post-credit scenes after a movie (after all the credits of course lol 😂).
🎬 Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience with my 2nd visit at this Classic Cinemas location. The food, atmosphere, & service was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this movie theater to anyone. There are also lots of spots to eat at near the theater in case you want to grab something to eat before or after you watch a movie.
💌 I hope this review helps Classic Cinemas in general, Classic Cinemas at the La Grange location, & its current and future customers.

Read moreAlmost 5 ⭐ Got there and was checked in via the concession stand attendant using the QR code on my phone (I had prepaid tickets online). He was pleasant while checking us in and getting our popcorn and drinks. It was a surprise to learn that 2 Med drinks (free refills) along with a large popcorn comes in slightly less than the nearby AMC who charges more for 1 large drink and large popcorn. The popcorn itself was great & the drink selection include coke products and slushies. The theater is small (no surprise) but doesn't feel overcrowded. The hallways are narrow but enough for people to cross each other. The mens bathroom was clean, smelled really good actually. The handblowers all worked but there were no paper towels in the despenser. Theres signed hanging from above the doors telling you what theater number you're about to go into- that made it simple to find our theater. The theater itself is very very nice. Clean, updated, you can tell work has been done to it recently. The recliners are plush leather and even has an option to head your seat. Recline plus heat your posterior? You can't beat that! That said, the recliners are VERY noisy as you recline down and up. In fact, if you recline down or up at anytime going to or coming from the bathroom or concession stand, be assured people around you will hear you. Additionally, theater 2 doors has a soft "slam" when the door closes. That was a bit annoying as you can hear people coming in and out every time. Overall these are just minor things though. The theater is awesome, has $5 Tuesdays and is in a great location surrounded by bars and restaurants. One negative is that if you reserve tickets online there's an additional $3 fee charged vs AMC who doesn't charge these online fees is you have an AMC membership. All around very good experience and will be...
Read moreVery aesthetic and chill theater. The Usual "I would have stayed home and streamed to watch it"...just to save some money! This slightly differs when hesitation sets in. You finally make up your mind and go to Classic Cinemas La grange Theater. Personally I think it was really cool you can now drink beer and watch the film you came to see. I suggest purchasing online or at the digital ticket kiosks inside of the Classic Cinemas La grange Theater. Set the show time and if you have more time. There's a bunch of places nearby to get a drink or a bite. Now I personally would go to milk money brewing to get a few Craft beers (Reverse Headband west coast double IPA 9%) Plus that the fact it is actually across the street. That is all pretty much right before you take the nice 2 minute walk into the Classic Cinemas La grange Theater. Then once inside you are amazed by bright lights and make sure to have your ticket or tickets ready. The Ticketmaster will scan you digital ticket and tell you what theater number it is in. You can purchase a snacks and popcorn at the food counter or get a nice fountain drink or refreshing cold carbonated icee. That's when the adults or anyone over 21 years of age can get a pint or two of beer to wash down that buttery salty yellow popcorn. When the time is right you make it down the halls. The first walk down it's like a pink colored maze. Theaters inside are huge with comfortable reclining chairs. Everyone working was youthful and friendly and helpful if we needed help with anything. Would definitely come back again sometime soon just to see something with a friend or...
