Stopped in with my daughter for a late lunch. We both got the chicken avocado club and I got a lemon blueberry scone for us to share. The sandwiches were pretty basic and lacked seasoning but were still tasty. They also came with a basic salad with vinaigrette dressing, so nothing fancy. The real star was the scone though..it was SO delicious and moist..probably the best scone l've ever had! It was the last one in this flavor or else I would've picked up a few to take home. I also had a regular drip coffee and it was pretty average. They had a little station to pour your own coffee and offered sugar/ stevia and half n half. Wish they would've had an option for plant based milk though (my tummy is definitely punishing me now lol). Lots of food options though! I think next time I'll try a panini - they looked delicious (from what I could see from the person next to me).
The place was pretty busy - a few people on laptops/ iPads, working maybe - and tables/booths seem to be full. There's TONS of seating options! A nice little spot to grab a bite and go.
One thing that kind of bothered me was the service charge on the receipt. I know other places do this so I'm not really upset it's there, but it would've been nice to have a heads up that you're going to automatically be charged a 3% service charge. I wouldn't have known unless I asked for my receipt which honestly, most people probably don't. I asked a worker about this and they we can ask for it to be removed if we'd like but it pays for their health benefits. I apologize if I missed the sign, but I didn't see anywhere telling me the charge will be there before paying. Just doesn't...
Read moreI recently visited this café and had a delightful experience. The drip coffee, sourced from Intelligentsia, impressed me with its rich and amazing flavor. The Vegan and gluten-free cake, supposedly their popular bakery item, lived up to its reputation – a delicious treat for those with dietary restrictions.
Our breakfast choices included the Veggie Breakfast Sandwich, served with house potatoes, and the Breakfast Basics. Initially served with a premade omelette instead of scrambled eggs, the staff quickly rectified the error and provided sunny side up eggs upon request. Although a slight hiccup, the prompt correction demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction.
The menu offers a variety of options, including breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and soups. The ambiance of the place is noteworthy, featuring spacious seating that adds to the overall comfort.
During my visit, Meagan assisted me in placing my order. Her helpful and friendly demeanor made my first experience at this establishment quite pleasant. It's evident that the staff values customer service, and Meagan's assistance contributed positively to my overall impression.
In conclusion, this café offers a diverse menu with tasty options, a pleasant environment, and attentive staff. While there was a minor issue with the breakfast order, the swift resolution and excellent service from Meagan left me with a favorable impression. I would recommend this place for a cozy coffee and...

The one part of the dining area has the retro looking mosaic tile. The wall behind the counter has the exposed brick while the lights above the counter is a shiny copper. Wood accents are scattered throughout.
The order line moved very fast. When I got up to the counter, the gentleman was very nice. He showed me where to fill up my coffee, asked if I wanted my chocolate croissant warmed up,and even brought me my croissant. After my croissant, I went back in line to order the turkey, apple, and gouda sandwich.
Chocolate croissant: warm, buttery, and flakey. The chocolate was rich and gooey. This is my favorite pastry. It reminds me of being in Paris.
Drip coffee: Intelligentsia brand. Came out very hot, but was smooth and bold. I added cinnamon to it.
Turkey, Apple, Gouda sandwich: was very good. It has the good turkey slices that remind me of Thanksgiving, lots of good cheese slices. Granny Smith apple slices, spring mix, and a berry vinaigrette. It came with a side of spring mix salad with the same vinaigrette that's on the sandwich.
Overall, everything was so good! I really enjoyed coming here. I wish I lived closer, so I can come...
