My family and I went there for a birthday dinner; we had a nice evening. If you are looking for the most authentic Mexican food, this might not be the place. This is an Americanized version of some of the best choices that the Mexican cuisine has to offer; it is an excellent Americanized version, though. The food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The Horchata tasted like it came out of a carton, and not homemade. It had a nice flavor to it, although not authentic. They added a bit of cinnamon on top, which added a bit of personalization to it, but this would not be the place for me to grab a True and Fresh Horchata. The steak, in the steak tacos, was juicy, tender, and flavorful. The steak and chicken for the fajita dinner was also made well. The fountain drinks that they offer are Coca Cola products. The staff at this establishment were helpful, attentive, kind, patient, and efficient. Our servant, Gabriela, took care of our every desire and request with kindness. My children were a bit of a handful, but that didn't faze her. The staff attended to us well, and even made sure we had enough amounts of drinks, sauces, and napkins, every few minutes. Gabriela was nothing close to overwhelming; on the contrary, she allowed us an excellent service and experience. Soon, I may return to Casa Margarita on LaGrange Rd. I will hope and ask for Gabriela as my server, once more, and I will enjoy a tasty meal of Steak Tacos with a side of Horchata. Btw, in this establishment, the green sauce is a mild and flavorful sauce while the Pico de Gallo is a flavorful but SPICY sauce. I Love spice, but it was still a bit much for me. I happily ate and enjoyed it, though; I just drank more Horchata and water to tame the fire on my tongue.. hahaha The trimmings were nice and fresh..

Found a black little hair rubberband in my Chimichanga today. Unfortunately, I noticed it after taking a bite of my food and was beyond disgusted. When I informed our waitress, she apologized and said she will bring my plate back to the cook. I told her I didn't want anything to replace it, just the check. She came back to the table to tell me that after speaking with the cook, he stretched the rubberband, and because it broke in half it wasn't a rubberband and there are no women in the back cooking and that it must be from the grill. I was appalled! Regardless of the material this band was made from, why is this foreign object in my food?! I wasn't going to argue, but I was visibly disturbed and the waitress then went to the manager and told me they will void my charge for my meal, I'm thankful they atleast did that but I don't like how this was handled and will never return again. I live near the area and extremely disappointed and grossed out. I had to call a girlfriend who lives near the area to avoid this place because of this experience.

The drinks In this restaurant were amazing and the staff was definitely friendly for the most part. We were offered drinks in the beginning and again the drinks were amazing. We waited over an hour and a half for our food to come. We got there at 3:30 and did not start getting food until 5/6 and then when we did receive our food, the food was cold. When it was brought to the attention of the staff that the food was cold, they took the plates back, heated it in the microwave and gave the same plates back to us. At first, we thought the food was completely new or redid, but then we noticed the same toppings that we put on the food ourselves were still there, and the food was extremely hot to touch. We then asked to speak to the manager and explained the situation, to which the manager tried to justify the reasons why things looked overcooked or were cold or looked like they have been sitting for long periods of time For example, the guacamole served on each plate was dark at the top like it had been sitting and she said if you dig underneath that it looks fresh. An extremely inappropriate answer. I do recommend the spot for the drinks, but for the food I recommend going elsewhere. Especially for the amount of money That you’re paying because the restaurant is extremely pricey, not complaining about that but I expect more from a restaurant At that level of pricing. If I’m going to spend over $200 on my drink and food, then I expect my food to be hot and if it is cold by accident, I expect them to redo my food not warm it up in a microwave and give it back to me. Then they act shocked at the fact that we realized that it was microwaved and I microwave stuff at home I know what microwaved food looks like: It was scorching hot, the steam was coming off of it but not in a fresh way. It was hot to touch, and my tortillas were extremely hard at the edges. They also used the excuse of us having a big party as the reason for why everything turned out badly but we had reservations for two weeks out So they should’ve been prepared for our big party because we gave them exact amount of people and less came we were supposed to. Also it was extremely hot and muggy in there and for a place to serve drinks I’d expect them to have a...

I was not impressed with our waitress "Libby". She said she would seat us and disappeared, a gentleman came and said he would seat us and we explained someone else was. She then rushed back and sat us down, and sat we did... For 15 minutes with no contact from everyone. All the while, "Libby" was leaning at the bar, sluggishly moving to the doorway standing and then walking back to her nesting spot at the bar. She only came over because she locked eyes with the person I was with. We began to place our orders, (we had a hell of enough time to look at the menu, we knew what we wanted), to which she interrupts and explains we have a few minutes left on lunch special so we SHOULD just order from there, she'll put our drinks in while we look, then walks away and comes back to ask the person I was with, "What did you want again???". She disappears and come back 5 minutes later (No drinks not even water, a gentleman we flagged down grabbed us some later)and we once again start to place our orders, Nope! Libs got it! She slams the menu on its back and points at the lunch specials again!!! She stated that she was trying to explain earlier we needed to look at this because it was lunch and that's what she meant but we didn't get it. okaaaaaayyyyyyy. So you guess it, we ordered off the lunch menu. Welp.... We got out food... and well... 10 minutes later those drinks we ordered 15 minutes into sitting down came to us. Cool. Slow service for a not so busy restaurant. Just as we start to eat she comes back and declares we need boxes!!! She leaves and gives us boxes, but.. We've only been eating at best 16 minutes??? 10 of which with no drinks?? She comes back and hands us the check, okay we get it you want us out we're going! We got the hint Lib. Well she is now, what it appears to look like is trying her best to see what the person paying for the check is writing down, desperate for your tip? She walks away and comes back with a stack of bags and rips (lol) the check out of the hands of the person I'm with and storms away! He was stunned, I was angry. Hands down, if you made it this far into my post don't go here for lunch. Try dinner and you tell me. I give this place a One star and will...

I've been coming to Casa Margarita for about 4 years now. Today we came and we were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. I requested one of their waiter's whose name was Jorge they told me that they don't even know who he is, that he never worked there. I was shocked because she has covered for him when I went there for my birthday because his shift was over.I thought that was strange and I didn't understand why she would lie to me, so I said ok and got seated. I asked to speak with Mr. Lee ( I don't know what his title is there but I'm assuming that he is like a manager). When I went there for my birthday a couple months ago I had told him that I did not receive my birthday gift coupon so he told me the next time I come in that he will give me $10 off my bill because I did not receive my birthday coupon. So today when I reminded him about what he said about honoring me a $10 off my bill he told me he does not remember and that he's never said that and he wanted to see my coupon.I was just stunned because he remembered me he said he remembered me but he doesn't remember saying anything about that. I wouldn't make something up like that, I've been going there for 4 years and I've never received a birthday gift coupon for just $10 off your meal I've only received their buy one get one, so I said okay whatever not a big deal and let it be. First disappointment: their salsa(which I loved by the way) was not as flavorful and wasn't spicy. Second: their horchata was spoiled, they told us that the machine was broken, they should know that if the machine was broken then that means that the rice water wouldn't be good. Third: everyone's food didn't taste good. I just don't understand how 5 meals were bad. They use liquid cheese on their food!!! We didn't order nachos. I just can't believe how much this food has changed and not for the better. I'm so disappointed. I just wanted my daughter to have a great day with good food and family and friends to ...
