If I could give zero star absolutely would but one will do. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered at a restaurant. My family and I were seated without menus. After 10 min of waiting for the host to bring us menus we finally realized we had to get up and get it ourselves. The host was no where to be found at this point. we sat there for 30 minutes while our “server” kiara walked back-and-forth without acknowledging us at all. Not a “hello I’ll be right with y’all” , nothing! Just bluntly ignored our presence. Another server came over to get our drinks started since she could see on our faces that we were upset. However she made it clear that she was supposed to be off already and it’s time for her to go so she’s doing us a favor. Still our server never came after 30 mins of us being seated. From the position where we were seated we could see the staff in the back POS area laughing, playing and ultimately not caring that guest we’re waiting for them. At this point the entire host area was FULL with guest waiting to be seated. The bartender (pink hair) only had two people at her bar top but never once said hey let me sit these guest waiting SMH. Never once did a manger walk around to assist. It was so bad. Our server finally came over once we flagged her down!!!! She approached the table as if we were bothering her and could care less that we had been waiting. We didn’t see her for another 10-15 min but we could certainly hear her in the back of the house in the kitchen. We finally got to a point that we couldn’t take the horrible service any more and decided to leave. I asked the bartender to cancel our order when she replied “I’m just the bartender” with an attitude and proceeded to walk away and complain about me with an attitude. Kiara (our server) approached me and I told her we wanted to cancel our food (which was only my daughters kids meal) and go somewhere with better service to which she responded with attitude “ok great” . This location is just a ghetto hot mess full of people who don’t care about the customers or making money. We drove 30 min away to another chilis location on Dallas parkway and wow they were awesome! Staff greeted us WITH A SMILE at the door. We were seated WITH menus and our server greeted us immediately. This location was actually more busy but yet the servers found the time to treat us how we should be treated. It was a little farther out but worth the drive. Please beware of the Austell...
Read moreI took my mom here for her B-Day 7/15/22. The wait time was extensive, and I don't do extensive waiting. There were no waiters on the floor but one. I heard the guy taking the orders and was very pleasant in tone and was also apologizing for the wait. After the long wait, we were seated, and he advised that he would be with us in a second and thanked us for being patient but also gave us chips and salsa for our wait. He finally came over and apologized again for the wait. I was truly impressed by this waiter who I later learned was Cedric. Cedric came over to take the drink order and we advised him that it was my mom's B-day, and he told her Happy Birthday. After bringing the drinks we were ready to order. He pulled up and sat down and asked my sister her order, my mom her order asked my 3 nephews their order, then he looked at me and asked me my order and then I pointed to my son and asked him what he wanted. Cedric cut me off and asked me again what my order was. I paused and at that moment, I caught it, he was teaching the boys a lesson, to let women order 1st. He then took my son's order. We finally got food and afterwards the crew came out and did the b-day song for my mom! (IT WAS DOPE). I was so impressed but most of all inspired. A young black man operating in the very nature God placed him in - LEADING. He managed to handle the floor alone and was very pleasant THE WHOLE TIME. Even when someone had an issue, he corrected it with an apology and a smile. Cedric was awesome and it didn't hurt that he was pleasant on the eyes as well. LOL - I'm cuttin up... LOL. But thanks Cedric! You rock. I wouldn't be surprised if you look up and he is a GM at a Chillis. He deserves a promotion because he leads and...
Read moreUpon walking in and waiting to be seated the hostess didn’t greet us but instead looked at us and asked how many? I replied 5, he then grabbed 5 menus and handed them to me as I was still standing in front of the door. He then says follow me as we walked holding our own menus to the table. It was definitely odd but not an issue. However after we were seated the waitress was very polite and came and took our drink order and food orders. After waiting for over 40+ mins we got our food…only for it to be delivered wrong. We ordered 2 burgers with no tomatoes and both came with tomatoes. We asked for them to fix it. They took the burgers back and about 10-15 mins later they bring them back out one with a tomato still! We complained yet again. They then sent another person over to offer us a free desert. I accept however told him I’d be happier if I could just get my ranch that I ordered with my burger that I had been waiting over an hour for at this point. After eating half of my meal I notice a hair cooked into my fries. I complained again and was offered for them to take off my burger. The discount at this point was an inadequate attempt to resolve such horrible service and mismanagement. I am leaving this review so others know and can avoid such avid disappointment. If I ever decide to go back to a chilis again it will not be this location. I will be reporting my experience to upper management as it seems my concerns were not taken seriously or heard tonight instead I was offered a discount to a meal I was already prepared to pay for. I did leave the waitress a nice tip as she was the only nice part of the entire visit. I have attached a picture of the hair on my fries. We paid $88+ for this...
