After passing by this spot several times and stating I will go...I FINALLY did! We had a lovely evening! At first it doesn't look like much but once the evening commences this place livens!!!! It is vibrant, a diverse crowd and dope music! B3 is a "REAL" DJ...his mix is addictive and so unexpected! He's a genius and down to earth! Macon does not have a diverse party scene and this is it! Elizabeth, the mixologist makes potent yet delicious drinks! Our love for Avation(the drink) is our new fascination. The PB&J shots are something else! We felt at home and we love the crew! I’ve been a huge fan of JBA almost since it opened. Brandon has always ensured a welcoming and fun atmosphere, and the change to a new, much larger location has only grown that atmosphere. The security team is by far the most respectable and well trained in town, and always prioritize deescalation in the rare occurrence of an incident. The bar program is fantastic; the addition of a cocktail lounge allows the already well established bartenders to really spread their wings. I went in just last week and Gillian made me her signature “Medicine Ball,” and that singular cocktail would dominate almost any competition/exhibition I’ve been to. JBA has always been my go-to spot for years… the “OG” original location will always have a special place in my heart, but the new location is absolutely phenomenal! i mean, us regulars feel spoiled now! they have an entrance that leads you to a warm, comforting upscale bar area, or, just down the hall, two more bars with the perfect stage area, pool tables, darts, and a cozy patio where you can still watch the fun inside. the bartenders and security have always been kind and fun to talk to as well, and really look out for everyone- they pay attention.
