Macon Water Ice — Restaurant in Macon

EDIT-We went during the day twice since my initial visit, really great, super friendly service both times! I stand by my initial review, but i haven't had the initial server again. So, highly recommend this spot!

First, i want to say the food was so awesome! I haven't had a good chopped cheese in the south ever, the wings were fresh and the sauce was good. I'll be returning for sure, but doing a pickup order to minimize contact with the worker up front.

Late night Saturday's the girl working the counter is rude as hell. No altercation or anything, she's just rude and doesn't respond to basic pleasantries like "Hello, thank you, or have a good night" All of which recieved no response the 3 times I was required to interact with her. Her service was so bad me and the friend I was with had already decided we wouldn't ever come back... until we ate the food! 😭

So I'll be back, but during the day, and if the food hadn't been so good they wouldn't be getting any more...

This restaurant is run by nice caring people. I ordered the fry special for the Macon fry competition. It happened to be chicken mac and cheese fries. I was happy to see that the container was full. It's definitely a sharable dish. Lots of food. It was fresh and made to order. I had the first few bites, but then it was just too much. I suggest they edit the sauce. After a few bites, all we could taste was the hot sauce. Maybe the mac and cheese was good, idk, it tasted like hot wing sauce. I would try this place again for the wings and maybe the fries, but I would definitely ask for the sauces on the side or to go lighter. The mac and cheese on the fries didn't work for me. Overall, I think ordering right and trying another dish is what I will do. Give it a try. They get 5 stars for being a local run business and...

As much as I love their food, n drinks!they have to realize that most customers r struggling with their health especially the ones in their mid n on to the elderly ,therefore they need to go easy on the amount of sugar that they use to make them juice, n the amount of salt that they use on these wings. I hope the chef read this n understand that he needs to go easy n the salt, Remember that most of the spices already salty so u adding too much salt is only make things worst n we cannot enjoy our food.u need to consider ur customers, as much as u consider making that money….every time I eat ur food I have to make sure have pain killers with me too much salt makes my...
