LONG REVIEW:
Beautiful ambiance, excellent service and amazing food. We recently relocated from SOFL to Macon. I have a culinary background and have had the privilege of eating at some of the best restaurants in the world. Our dinner tonight is right up there with the best of them.
Appetizers: crab cake, pork belly. As a Boston native, I can be very snobby when it comes to lump crab cakes. These were as delicious as the ones I’ve had on the Vineyard and Nantucket. Hardly any breading, fresh huge pieces of crab, perfectly seasoned with a creamy mustard sauce, the perfect accompaniment to the crab.
The pork belly was crispy but not oily and the sweet currant sauce helped cut the richness.
Pre-entree salad: caprese Nice firm tomato, excellent quality mozzarella fruity olive oil basil and perhaps fig balsamic glaze? Simple, light, fresh delicious 😋
Entrees: filet mignon tender but not mushy, cooked just the way my husband wanted. Sides: fries and Brussels sprouts: AMAZING! I love how they don’t overdo the seasonings. The food is very high quality, therefore, it doesn’t need a ton of oil and salt to taste good. I could eat the steak and sprouts everyday it was so good.
Lamb chops: excellent, ask for the rosemary garlic sauce for them. Consider the sweet plantain for your side, it paired very well with the lamb.
Desserts: chocolate molten cake and crème brûlée. You must try these! They are made from scratch and literally taste like something you would have at a lovely bistro in Paris. So decadent rich but somehow light, wow! The perfect ending to a perfect meal! Will definitely return! Want to try the spinach dip, and whole fried snapper...
Read more-My party arrived around 1:35 -I arrived at 2:05 after orders were in so I placed my order then and sat down. -My son Recieved food after 3 ONLY because we said he had to eat before their 4:30 football practice and we were about to leave if it was going to be much longer. -Food I had was good, I had the ribeye cooked medium that was overcooked but sill tender so I wasn’t mad at all. The butter mixture on the steak was surprisingly refreshing. Steak was 7.5/10 but could have been an easy 9/10 I think with the right cook temps. -Everyone’s food looked amazing! And they said it was good too! -I paid $134 for me and my wife’s dishes. She had a plate with 5 shrimp and some spinach. -When we walked out, the manager or owner in the suit jacket and pony tail confronted my brother in law about his post. He said he watched the ticket times in the kitchen and we had different perspectives and that he was tired of people making stuff up.
In the food service industry, please don’t invalidate what a persons experience is. All you can do is increase efficiency. Don’t tell them they are wrong. That was a highly unprofessional moment for him and I wasn’t even going to leave a review up until that point.

Suit jacket-ponytail manager should be replaced by someone that can handle the pressure of being responsible because the restaurant has the necessary components of success, but only with stable leadership.

Read moreOverall a pleasant experience. However, wheelchair accessibility is limited. I had to seat in the lower area where restrooms are small and limited. A wheelchair ramp to the main floor would be a great improvement. We were seated and had to wait over 20 minutes for the water. I noticed that a small group that was escorted by the owner got much faster service. I understand it's a new restaurant and I hope to they reconsider any improvements. On a very positive note, the waitress was outstanding! Also I want to give kudos for bringing the Caribbean cuisine to Macon, GA. A much needed infusion to the Hispanics in Central Georgia. Please, go and support this restaurant. I am certain they will improve and grow with time. Overall a good experience and good food. I tried the mofongo with shrimp. Next time I will try the red snapper. Yes, I plan in returning! Dr. WiL Perez.
