With 20 minutes left on my lunch hour & being less then 1 mile away from work I pulled into this McDonald's drive thru about 2:30pm,I was the only car until a few more pulled in behind me. I ordered 3 mocha frappes to bring back for my co-workers. The cashier at the first window was great, I was greeted with a smile & I left with a thank you. The second window I wasn't greeted, not one word, no hello, how ya doing, here are your frappes :) nothing, this girl looked like she was mad that I had interrupted her day, after she tried to hand me 2 of the drinks I asked her to put 2 in a holder, she answered me with a big sigh, shut the window and I waited. She opened the window with that same miserable look & handed me the holder & then a single frappe that had chocolate & caramel dripping down the sides & boom, shut window. I waited for a few then honked my horn with my 1 non-sticky hand. The window fly's back open & there's the inspiration for Stephen Kings Misery staring at me & again silence, very uncomfortable silence. I tell her mocha frappes do not have caramel & the cup is a dripping mess, she takes it back, no oops, sorry or would you like a napkin for your hand? Nothing, again, window slams shut, back open, slam again,I look at the cup that she had just wiped off & handed back still full of caramel & a squeeze of chocolate, this happens 2 more times until I pull into a spot & go inside with the cup that had been wiped down so many times it should have filed charges & still with the caramel, chocolate & melted down tablespoon of whipped cream floating around in there.By now I'm late getting back to work & my good mood that I drove in with was long gone but I figure the problem will be taken care of by going inside & letting them know what happened plus I was getting a little nervous by this point that this girl might reach through that window & hurt me, you never know these days. I walk up to the counter right into the glare of what had to be Misery's much larger & much scarier sister & Misery herself was not a small girl. Again, not one word is said to me,as I start to hand her the cup & my receipt, with my sticky hand this time and try to tell her what's going on she grabs the drink, slams it into the garbage where her attitude belonged & just starts making another one while she continues to slam everything around on the counters. It was obvious she already knew & didn't care about the whole situation. Double Misery gets done & shows my receipt to a co-worker while they whisper back & forth for a minute. She finally hands me back the drink without saying anything & I have to ask for my receipt back, she handed it back with a complimentary eye role. I walk out, get back in my car & see the other 2 frappes looking pretty ugly by now & finally I drive back to work feeling extremely frustrated, getting back really late, & wondering how these 2 McDonald's employee's get away with being so rude. I will never go back, they do not deserve my money, I am...
Read moreThis particular McDonald's gave me an overall poor experience. starting with the drive-thru there was a sign for a big Mac bundle not a meal a bundle. Since the bundle came close to what I wanted to order I ordered it unfortunately the person taking the order misinterpreted it as a big Mac meal.and on top of that confusion the fact that they had a sign that included what you're buying but it was so far to the right it was not noticeable until you pulled away. since this was the beginning of rush hour and my order was totally messed up I asked this person to cancel the order and I just drove around to get back into the drive-thru line. Second time they got the order correct unfortunately the poor cashier must not wanted to have face me because the manager gave me my meal through the window and I paid her etc I wasn't about to say anything to him chances are they were stuck followng a corporate directive to advertise something that they don't sell. Well when I got home and eat my meal the hamburgers were pretty good I will admit that the chicken nuggets were so overdone that I was eating the shell of the Nugget in the meat inside seemed puny or dried up. So overall I give this place one star for the misleading drive-thru advertisement; two stars for order accuracy; and three stars for the food . The McDonald's that I normally go to rates four and five stars on regular basis so I wonder why this place was so messed up. And this was at 5:00 p.m. on a Wednesday so there was no reason to be short short shifted as in not enough people.someday I'd get so angry that I may not go here again but till then I'll just put up with...
Read moreThe food at this fast food chain is mediocre at best.
Their hamburgers are thin, even the quarter pounders are thin.
They should bring back the beef tallow french fries because I never had them before but I'm sure they taste better than the waxy film aftertaste that is left by their current oil.
The milkshakes are cloying and they lack any substantial flavor. The chocolate is not chocolate enough. The strawberry is not strawberry ebough. The mix tastes like mix, not ice cream, and I can tell the difference.
They lack a porkless breakfast meat option. Where's the lean turkey sausage option? Can I get a 100% beef sausage option? Or at least a chicken sausage? Smoked salmon, smoked trout, something. I demand at least one porkless breakfast sandwich option. It is a matter of catering to more diverse palettes.
The sodas/pop, whatever you call it is lacking in any nutritional value, and if there was no citric acid in them, everyone would vomit upon touch the drinks are so sweet. I'm going to submit a bill to McDonalds for my dental work. They have to put a warning on the coffee cups that the contents are hot. They need a warning on the pop cups that the drinks could cause cavities. Drink at your own risk. I'm a matchbook attorney among other things.
When you pay your money to get some quick, cheap food, you expect the food to have some kind of flavor or redeeming quality. McDonalds has none.
Have I been harsh? I hope I have. Hopefully I can shame this company into making some kind of opportunity for people who want something a...
