Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Madison Township

You get what you pay for, and I'm taking about what you pay employees. Ordered online, ETA for order was 15mins after order. Due to traffic and a long post office visit I arrived 12 minutes after the promise time, 27 minutes from order time. After waiting two minutes at the drive through to be greeted I drove around the building again. After waiting 2 more minutes, now 31 minutes after ordering, the employee finally greeted me and told me that they had to fire the pizzas. I ordered a cheese and a pepperoni, he said an additional 7 minutes for the firing, indicating the pizzas were already prepped, just not fired, clearly meaning that our order had gone unnoticed for now 31 minutes, and only upon arriving to pick it up we're the employees made aware they had an order. This was the first ticket of the day.

I get it. People hate their jobs and they are paid very poorly, but still I just ask that you actually do the job you claim to do and are asked to do. There were many employees present, at least 4. Two of them walking around on a cellphone and two of them appearing to have just finished eating a meal or snack.

Waiting 38 minutes for two medium pizzas and a salad is unacceptable in the QSR industry.

I like Donatos pizza and will continue to buy it, just not from this location. Unless I'm prepared to wait close to 45 minutes...

ZERO STARS- HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!!! 1.) Cheesy bread sticks- burnt outside, uncooked center 2.) Cinnamon bread sticks burnt outside. 3.) Ordered the harvest chicken salad with 2 apple dressings. Received 1 balsamic vinaigrette. I typically just let these things go, but the apple dressing is the only appropriate dressing for that salad. The young lady on the phone seemed annoyed that I wanted someone to delivery just dressing and said it would be sent with the next delivery. I asked how long that would take she said "however long it takes to get from the delivery location to your house." Why mine didnt take priority baffles me since they had already messed up my order. Forty minutes later still no salad dressing. I called again and spoke with the manager who only offered to send it out again for the third time. No! Everyone else ate, kids are ready for bed and I'm hangry! I had to ask to have the charge removed (he didn't offer) only to be told that he couldn't because he cashed out that driver already. Only thing that could be done was to email corporate about this to see if they could reimburse me and offered me a salad credit for that location. No, never again especially from this location and will redirect others! Very poor...

Update 2023... Tried again, still issues with service and with food being wrong. They just don't care.

This is the donatos closest to our house so we have ordered from it often. I ask for light bake on our order every time because we have 3 teenagers with autism and they don't like the black on top and around the edges. The first pictures are from our most recent order. After speaking with a manager regarding the pizzas at the bottom which were not only not light baked, but they were cut into little itty bitty pieces, he credited our account and we ordered again the following week and the pizzas were exactly like they were supposed to be so I know it is possible for the light bake to happen. He told me when I spoke with him that their ovens had been recalibrated the day before I talked to him. Now, another week later we are back to not getting the light bake we ask for.
