First, the food was fine. Had I purchased to take home, I would probably be rating this higher. Not a 5, but a 4.
I went in with my niece and nephew (first visit for me) right after they got out of school. They were out early so it was around 2:30 p.m. on a Monday.
First thing I noticed: the music was LOUD! It was the first nice day (temperature wise) so I decided to stay and we asked about eating outside which was fine with the restaurant employee I talked to...we ordered our food and went outside.
I needed to go back into the restaurant, but the door we had just exited was LOCKED. LOL. Okay, walked around to the main entrance. Odd they would see people outside but not unlock the side door. The music was still BLARING. At this point an employee was wiping down the (stainless steel) tables. The form of cleaning was to take a wet cloth and wipe everything off the table onto the floor. Not very appetizing to say the least. Just don't look down and you won't see it must be their motto at this store. Odd, they would clean the tables by this method, but that was what she was doing.
I mentioned the LOUD music. She acknowledged it was LOUD, but that was all there was to the conversation.
I honestly cannot imagine people staying inside and eating or even wanting to go there and eat. Perhaps they count on people ordering their food and leaving? I wanted to have a conversation with my niece and nephew over lunch (both high school students) but it would have been impossible. There was not one inch of the inside restaurant that was not under a BLARING speaker.
I ate outside and we left. Personally, I will never go back again to this restaurant. I mentioned this to a neighbor and she told me she has been to several different Chipotle restaurants the music was ALWAYS loud.
The food was not exceptional enough to warrant a return visit. There are too many choices for eating out including 2 other restaurants with a similar theme nearby, so adios to Chipotle in Canal Winchester.
I love the style of food, but not interested in this restaurant.
If you are there for take out, the employees were pleasant and quickly filled our order. No complaints about that... though I go back to the employee wiping the remnants of what was left on tables onto the floor as her preferred method of cleaning.
The price is in the ball park so advantage there to going to this restaurant.
Finally, they were out of lettuce. LOL. My nephew, who never complains, couldn't believe that they had NO LETTUCE. How do you run out of the cheapest vegetable they...
Read moreOn Sunday the 2nd of February we ordered through door dash. Specifically ordered 2 bags of chips due this location often forgetting the chips and guac and queso. Neither bags of chips were delivered and neither was the guac or queso and the 3 tacos ordered had 4 out of the 5 toppings missing and hardly any visible steak. This was an order that was paid for at 10 pm on a Sunday night, clearly not at peak rush hour service times. Did you know McDonalds owns Chipotle’s? And it shows in their inability to hire, maintain a staff who cares at all clearly after multiple attempts at ordering food from the same location for years giving it chance after chance after chance to do what is right by their customers. We consistently get orders delivered wrong with either missing ingredients, cold food, drinks spilt over or half full upon arrival. We try to be patient. Unfortunately the risk is too great to have to be taken advantage of over and over by a large food chain. Well he taking our business to the local taco food truck across the way from hereon out. Wake up Chipotle. You’re losing money daily by your lack of quality customer service. Before long you also will not be around for business if you keep up with these quality customer service skills you have shown. If I could give 0 stars to this chipotle and many many more I have used in the past I surely would! No amount of apologies or free crap from them will payback the lost time we’ve experienced over these careless attempts at running a...
Read moreOne day this girl was on the line and she was so friendly and funny and made my experience here great. I told her I never seen her on line and asked if she was new but she said no she just usually stays in the back and does prep I told her they should keep her up here and then since then I barely see her :( I see her do takeout on the rare occasion and when she is on there customers come in and out with no wait unlike any other day where line customers and takeout customers are constantly waiting 10-30 mins.. she seems to be the best employee there and she’s constantly moving and the fastest all while I noticed is PREGNANT when there’s young kids there who can barely even provide good customer service. I wish she worked more bc I asked about a week ago when I saw her she if she worked at nights now so I can just come in when she works but she said they cut her hours to 1-2 days and yet the people who suck and are slow with bad attitudes were kept on everyday but they need to be moved to “prep” and people like her can be up front with customers or kept on takeout. I hope I get to see her pretty friendly face more as you guys are only getting my 5 stars bc of her and the fact the food got a lot better over the years.. let her train the rest of your employees on how they should be bc I came in yesterday and today hoping for another food experience with customer service but it was very lacked.. I ask when she works next and employees said they didn’t know so I hope to run...
