Cricket's — Restaurant in Madison

2024 Update: I've been going here for years, I'm regular enough that some of the staff knows my order, even after a 1.5 year absence from Huntsville. The service and food quality is top tier. Treasure this place! I've had wings from all over the country, even the first buffalo wing recipe in Buffalo, NYC. Nothing matches the wing size, quality, and flavor of Crickets.

Here's my typical order, for reference: 8pc or 12 pc Buffalo mild Fries Ranch Half sweet tea extra mild sauce on the side (pour in the wings just before biting). I'm not sure how they do it but I've never had cold wings or a bad meal - 100% of the time they are fresh, crispy, saucy, and delicious. Their ranch seems to be a mix between two ranch dressings, it absolutely slaps with the wing flavor profile.

If there's a super fan and top spender list, I'm probably on that list. I love this place and the staff 😍

The overall of the restaurant is similar to a diner that supports local highschool and college sports teams - but in a tasteful way, this is in no way their defining factor. The outdoor seating is nice as well.

Very few restaurants deserve this type of review but Crickets absolutely does. Good job, and please keep it up - I want you all...

I want to state first that my family LOVES Cricket's and has been coming on almost a weekly basis for 15+ years. Their wings are my favorite because they are crispy, and the sauce flavors are excellent! However, the service has gone down dramatically. I understand Covid has hurt a lot of businesses, especially the foodservice industry. But, there were five teenagers "working" last night, and that was a terrible mistake. They were more interested in chatting with each other and using the buddy system to slowly clean tables while neglecting the small crowd of customers they had (every empty table was dirty). I could understand a wait on a busy night, but when there are seven tables in the restaurant, and we are still waiting 45 minutes for wings when four tables that sat down after us got their food first, AND we got warmish soggy wings....that's unacceptable! I hope management will tighten up on service standards because we want to continue coming for the fantastic food we know they can produce!

UPDATE* We went back after 2 weeks and the service and food was great! It's what we love and expect when we go there! Keep it...

Took my sports team to dine at this establishment Monday, February 11. I called ahead to make sure they could accommodate a large party of 20 or more. The owner stated that they could and took our reservation.We ordered our food and enjoyed our meal. The waitress wrote all the orders on one ticket and then informed us that we had to go to the counter to checkout. The owner(s)checked each person out and rudely informed one of my parents that we needed to leave a tip since we had a party of 20 or more. This was a group of middle school and high school students that didn't have any extra cash for a tip. All the adults left a tip. As I waited to make sure all my athletes had a way home, I proceeded to the counter to pay for my meal. The owner informs me that I had to pay for a couple of meals that weren't paid for. After spending 30 minutes disputing this with the management, they did not ring up the right orders, but still wanted me to pay for their mistake. The owners were very rude and spoke to me in an unprofessional manner. As of today, I will never eat in that...
