Had dinner with my Dad for his birthday. First time ever going there but I had heard great things from people I trust.

Drinks:

Wisconsin Old Fashioned Sweet: 10/10. Easily one of the best old fashioned I've ever had.

Appetizers:

Fried Calimari: By far the best Calimari I've ever had. They have this sweet sauce mixed with peanuts and it was great. 10/10.

Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes:

Presentation was really nice. Ingredients were fresh. Wasn't as flavorful as I anticipated it was going to be. I prefer Bonfyre's over there's but these were still good. 7/10.

Bone Marrow: Very fresh but not the most flavor overall. 7/10.

Fresh bread: The bread they provided was top notch. 10/10

Soup:

French Onion: Very flavorful. Not the best I've ever had but probably top 3. 8.5/10.

Sides:

Shaved Brussel Sprouts: These were amazing. Big depth of flavor and freshness. 9.5/10

Grilled Asparagus: Very fresh. Could have a had a bit more flavor but that's probably a personal preference of mine and I like to add garlic seasoning to the asparagus I make at home. 8/10

House cut fries: These were very good. Cut how I like them with the skin still on. 9/10

Garlic Mashed Potatoes: Absolutely amazing. 10/10

Steak:

20 oz dry aged Bone in Ribeye: one of the best steaks I've ever had. Got it medium rare with mushrooms and onions. I got it with a side of creamy horseradish. Honestly the only thing I didn't like in the entire meal was the creamy horseradish. Only because it didn't taste like horseradish. It didnt taste much like anything and the texture was a little weird (but I'm sure that was a me problem). Next time I get a steak there I'm definitely going to do it Oscar style because I'm guessing that will be absolutely amazing. I didn't do it that way this time because I just wanted the steak with mushrooms and onion and dip in the horseradish sauce. Steak overall rating not including the horseradish sauce 9.75/10.

Service: Was absolutely top notch from top to bottom. Wheb we walked in the hostess seemed a bit nervous but she was super nice and she could have just been new so I'm certainly not going to hold that against her. After dinner we were too full to have dessert for my Dad's birthday so instead the waitress comped two of our drinks which was awesome. 9.5/10

Overall: It was an amazing experience. When you first walk in it smells like perfectly cooked steak (but the smell is not overpowering) which really set the tone. One thing to note is they are literally set in the middle of a bunch of road construction right now, but don't let that deter you from going....

Super Unimpressed. My husband and I went to Delmonico's with 2 others friends last night. We were seated right away with our reservation and the hostess was very friendly. We then waited more than 10 minutes for anyone to great the table. Once our server arrived (Kristen) she dropped the wine list and said she would be back to take our drink order. A few minutes later another server (also named Kristen) came by to take a drink order. When we told her someone else had come by, she said she would figure it out, and she walked away. Another 10 minutes passed before the first Kristen came by and actually took our drink order. We had now been sitting at our table for more than 20 minutes and did not even have water. By this point we were ready to order food as well.

Our salads came up right away along with bread. Kristen let us know she sent our entree order to the kitchen and the food would be up shortly. 30 minutes after we finished our salads Kristen told us the food was taking so long because the kitchen had overcooked our steak and they were making a new one. I asked her if she would go ahead and bring the rest of the food out so it was not sitting in the window. We also had to ask for another round of drinks as our's had been empty for a while.

She sent the rest of the food out, and magically, the steak came out too. Everything was overcooked. My husband ordered his ribeye rare and it came out medium, I ordered my filet medium and it came out medium well, and the macaroni was dry all the way through. My friend's fish was perfect, and my additional lobster tail was wonderful.

We had told Kristen we were celebrating a birthday and anniversary, I would have loved to have a bit of cake for my birthday except we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours and 10 minutes and had a show to get to. Everything took way to long and the food was overcooked. My husband and I will stick to the Chop House or Tornado Room...

Well we went for my wife's 60th birthday. Place looked excellent. Got their and we ordered appetizer,, crabcakes. Waitress took wife's drink order and for some reason did not ask me what I wanted to drink. I let it go and we enjoyed the crabcakes. 20 minutes passed and she got bak to us to order dinner. She took our order and said she would get us bread and butter. I ordered a Gin and tonic with a lime at this time. Figured if I didn't she would not ask. We waited at least 30 minutes without anything not even my drink. Finally she showed up again and asked if we wanted more bread. Told her we never got any bread. She ran off and brought us bread and butter at this time. Still no drink. 15 minutes later our food shows up. Wife had salmon and I had ribeye. Mine was the most bland ribeye I have ever tasted. I might have added sLt and pepper to it to help it out if we saw our Waitress again. I also did not want to spoil wife's 60th birthday by getting a manager involved. Finally while cleaning our dishes and saying no to desert the Waitress said she was bringing wife something special. Small slice of birthday brownie with candle on top. Well that was nice I thought.... until I sW the charge of $10.00 for the desert that we never ordered.

Summery: the Waitress was horrible. Ribeye bland. I don't think k I would recommend this place to anyone. All of that for $145.00 If this is example of good steak house than it is te to hit fast food restaurant instead.

P.S. gave Waitress $1.00 tip and wrote on check "Not happy"

Editing to add this note. When I review I do so without wanting to be given credit for deleting my review. I rate places as they present themselves to me. I try to be honest and informative. Go to this place at...
