Just opening the door you get a breeze of the surgery treats made inside. It rushes you back to the old style candy shops. The first thing noticed is the work station is placed right in front of the bay window. I was there close to closing so they weren't currently making anything but it was clear they make on sight the waffle cones and chocolates. Continuing to walk past the display case is an assortment of handmade truffles, turtles, peanut butter cups, and candies. Following that up is the ice cream display. Again several flavors to choose from. They provide free samples to help you pick. In the middle of the room there are delicious looking candies such as gummy bears and lemon drops that are pre-packaged. Read moreAs always, amazing visual experience even before I get a chance to taste the chocolates and treats. The presentation of the chocolates is really a great courtesy to the customer; it's like an edible art display!
The ice creams are great, too! The cinnamon crumb something or other is worth a same-day repeat visit! I love peanut butter and chocolate and this chain never disappoints. I didn't get to try the rice krispie treat dipped in peanut butter then double-dipped in milk chocolate! I'll be back for that one.
