Lake Vista Cafe — Restaurant in Madison

Tried to come several times over the year since I moved to Madison, and it was either not open (on July 4 or Memorial day) or so packed there was an hour wait. When we finally were able to go at least half of the items on the menu had run out. At 3pm and they were open until 7. I can understand when a restaurant runs out of a couple of things, but this is clearly due to bad planning. I don't understand how their business is profitable: they're only open a few weeks of the year and during thise weeks appear...

Cute patio cafe on the lake. Kind of upscale style pub food, not spectacular but plenty of options. It’s fun to eat on the lake is the main draw. Hold your drink so a sudden gust of wind doesn’t blow wine all over you, but end. If it dies at least you’re out in the sunshine. Very limited hours & closes at any hint of bad weather so enjoy...
