Tailwinds — Restaurant in Madison

I have been traveling to Madison the last few months and been staying in hotels while traveling. I recently stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton Madison East and was overwhelming surprised by the quality of the restaurant (Tailwinds). They have a great menu, but more than that Mitchell has created an environment of amazing service. He has taken specific requests, even if not on the menu, and if possible made those dishes for me. I have the choice to stay at any of several hotels in Madison and because of Tailwinds I now choose to stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Madison East where you will often find me in the corner by the fireplace eating incredible food and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. I ordered a garden salad with chicken and a side of cheese curds, along with a peach mojito. While the salad was basic, the cheese curds stole the show – they were absolutely amazing! The outside was perfectly light and crispy, and each bite was delicious. Even though the restaurant was pretty busy and service was a bit slow, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. My husband and I played date night roulette and ended up here for Valentines day. It did not disappoint!
