A great location close to the Allstate Arena. The place is clean there's a nice entrance way to get to the counter. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. They have TVs in a few locations around the seating area, broadcasting different shows. I felt like this Buona Beef had more choices of things to eat then other Buona Beef locations. However I could be wrong. They had pizza and salad more desserts. We were in a hurry so I didn't look over the full menu. We each had the 7-inch beef and I had a Caesar salad. I put all the beef on 3 inches of the bread so I had more meat and less bread, but I which I prefer that way. The Caesar salad was made with Romaine lettuce with large slices of Parmesan cheese on top with the dressing on the side like I requested. It was all good I think I was disappointed with the solid I expected more green leafy lettuce leaves but typical for a fast food restaurant. Finding a direct route out of the restaurant without bumping into other tables and chairs with people in them was difficult. We ended up going out the ordering line because I believe the path to get out is blocked when people whom are sitting at those tables near that exit route, their chairs are pushed out into the aisle. Then the aisle disappears. We went back for a second visit a few days later because won the race played at the Wolves game. You get a free 7 in sandwich when you get a drink and a fry. Our sandwich came out first then our fries. Most places wait until the entire order is ready then bring out...
Read moreMy experience was just picture perfect if I wanted to eat out of a food trough. What a way to ruin a great Signature Classic Buona Beef Sandwich. I ordered the Classic Buona Beef 10" Sandwich with Hot Giardiniera Baptized. It came out on a plate with some sort of holes on the bottom so all the juice can be oozing and gozzing all over the table for you to get your hands and shirt all messed up. Nothing like wearing your food home on yourself. Most distrubing was the aluminum tin foil that is used to wrap up the Beef Sandwich. As you eating the Beef Sandwich the tin foil is soak with the juice breaking small holes of tin foil into your Classic Buona Beef sandwich. Nothing like eating pieces of tin foil for extra flavor. If you catch the tin foil fallen into your sandwich. It's a great experience to start digging to remove all these pieces out of your sandwich before you eat it. Also the parchment paper that is on top of the plate before the sandwich is put down next. Does nothing to stop the juice to leak or stop the small holes from happening with the aluminum foil wrap. There has to be another way to serve the Signature Classic Buona Beef Sandwich Baptized in the name of "The World Famous...
Read moreI wasn't overly impressed. The 4.5 stars it got on Google were a little misleading. I ordered a 4 cheese pizza, cheese fries, a water and on my way out I grabbed a brownie. Healthy, I know... But that's besides the point. The pizza was flavorful, but crunchy (over cooked). And they skimped on the cheese. Each piece had about an inch of extremely crunchy crust with no toppings. The fries were good, but it came with a small plastic side of manufactured cheese dip. I couldn't really complain given the price but I felt like I had returned to the high school lunch line. My food was delivered to my table which was nice! I guess what threw me off was the initial review of almost 5 stars for an Italian place with great pizza. Next time I'll try a salad and maybe a sandwich. Topping things off, I had a brownie. A stale brownie. 1/2 of it was as hard as my pizza crust. The other half was remotely soft. I looked at the package to see when it expired but there wasn't an expiration date on it. I guess they last forever. Don't get me wrong. It's not horrible but I'd choose this for a quick bite on your lunch break, not a dinner...
