I have never been to a restaurant where a waiter were so rude and unprofessional. I have never experienced anything like this before going out to eat. We are a party of 4 plus one toddler. My toddler were crying at the time which I get that it isn’t pleasing for others to which I understand why we were seated in a corner away from everyone. When my waiter came she doesn’t look friendly at all. She was white around mid 35s-50s, im not so sure. She greeted us with an attitude which I know the vibe isn’t going well. After asking us what we would like for drinks, she immediately told us if there is anything else because she does not want to run back and fourth for drinks and to waste her time!!!!! I totally forgot to ask for her name. It happened today 1/08/2024 around 10:30 AM. She was not friendly, she was rude and she was mocking my brother for his improper English accent at the same time. She then walk away and I could see her talking to her coworker about us. I could feel the vibe accumulating and I was not happy at all. I then flip out and talk to the manager right away changing our servers. We are the customers going out to pay for our food, we not here to beg for free food. 1st A huge shout out to Eric( my server), it was getting close to midnight( closing) but I hadn't had dinner and didn't want something heavy, although it was empty in large part because it was closer to closing plus it is iHop , which has mainly breakfast BUT I managed to keep it light and it was goooood. Eric brought the little mini pitcher of hot coffee( I need it because I work overnight) so the coffee was fresh and amazingly hot and was good!!, I was hungry so I asked for a side of mac and cheese for " appetizer "... and yep, I could eat that by itself it was so cheesy, tasty tender ( try it or get it as a side!). So I went with the Atlantic salmon with the option of steamed broccoli, and green beans for sides. For this being an iHop, I was very surprised at HOW GOOD IT WAS!!, Perfect portion- 6 oz of Salmon,it was grilled to beyond satisfaction highly recommend it. The veggies were perfectly steamed and the portion was excellent.. and this dish would easily cost more at a high end or seafood restaurant - for the same exact dish!!! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! And the level of service from my server was excellent. For desert I went for this, strawberry/ oreo cookie shake !!
