After canceling my order from The Room Place due to the company always backing up our order, we decided to go to other furniture stores. Our first stop was Ashley's which is in the same plaza as Full House Furniture. We saw a couch that we liked. After looking around we decided to go next door to Full House Furniture. The first thing we saw was the couch we saw at Ashley's. Naturally, we looked at their price to compare it with Ashley's. The difference in the price was shocking. Full House furniture had a way better deal than Ashley's. Of course, we bought it from them instead.
Back to the room place experience. They kept telling us the dates they would deliver our furniture. But it would change every month and we got tired of this. We told this story to the staff here. They did say a lot of furniture is backed up which is understandable. But they were 100% honest with us about when they would deliver. They said it can take a few months for it to be delivered. They didn't give me an exact date which I appreciate because I didn't want to go through what I went through with the room place.
They're a family owned business. I love supporting local and family businesses. The staff here are phenomenal! They connect with you and have open conversations just about on anything. The staff at Ashley's only talk about business and just want your money. But these guys are full of life and love what they do. I have nothing bad to say about Full House Furniture. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, I felt appreciated as a customer. If you want good deals on furniture and great customer service, check these guys out. It's worth the visit!!

Next group I want to talk about was the delivery guys. Jose and Frank. Initially, they tried getting the couches through the front. After a few tries, they suggested we try the back door. But it was obvious to them that it wouldn’t work. So they went back to the front. After many attempts, these guys finally got it in the house. I don’t know how they did it but it worked. They told me the rule was they had 4 attempts to try to get the couch in. They definitely did way more than 4 attempts. They were very professional. I love how they never gave up on trying to get the couches in. I’ve had experience with another furniture store who tried the bare minimum to get the couches and just left. Frank and Jose would not leave without getting the couches in. They’re determination was spectacular. They also gave me two calls the day of them drop off. And that's a shame to say it because they were all so nice, BUT it is not worth the headache and time spent dealing with this place. It took over 2 months to get our son's nursery furniture, and since he was already 7 months we were looking to transition to a full size crib set. ALL THEY HAD TO SAY IS "Due to xyz, we are not sure exactly when it will come I'm, but we will call you when your order does." Or be upfront and tell us to choose something else. But no! When I asked (because of our timeline) they said 2-4 weeks...and it's printed on the receipt too. I understand things are a mess, but they just had to be honest instead of giving us the run around and it wouldnt have been such a nightmare. Every time we called, different excuse. I would have either selected something that they were positive was on standby or purchased something online from another company that was guaranteed in stock. It's a crib, I needed it. I'm positive they were too afraid to lose the high sale so they lied, and after countless phone calls to machines leaving messages with no call back, we just started going in weekly. I was about to start sitting outside with signs to warn other customers. Absolutely ridiculous. The sweet young girl never knew what was going on, and they always had to call one another back and forth for answers. We tried asking for a refund, and their response? "We dont do that." What?!?!?! Sure its one thing if you all made the effort and I changed my mind after receiving it, but it never even left the warehouse! They were holding $1500 hostage......
And finally when I thought things couldnt get worse.. Not only did they assemble parts of the furniture wrong, which we had to re-do (legs on backwards).... I'm STILL MISSING parts of my order from April!!!! The toddler rail and changing tray for the dresser were "missing on the truck." It is almost September. I just gave up trying. I don't know how many more times I could go in there upset with no results. The last time I was there I was in tears because I was so angry. Please don't waste your energy with these people, the deals they offer are not worth the extra stress. Pay the little extra for the company whose reputation and customer service skills are top notch. Read moreI legitimately don’t know how this business has a single star. We purchased a custom order couch in April. The girl who sold it to us was lovely and helped us choose a custom fabric and color. We were told that the order would be shipped out in roughly 6-8 weeks. We called them after 8 weeks for an update on the order. They NEVER answer the phone here. Be prepared to call numerous times before anyone picks up. When we finally got ahold of someone, they told us “the order was delayed because of covid/material shortages”. Another 6 weeks go by. We call again. This was continuously a pattern every 4-6 weeks. Numerous attempts to get ahold of someone at the store, then finally an answer with some runaround excuse as to why the order was not ready. We kept giving them the benefit of the doubt because we were honestly really excited about our custom couch and also because we know things are delayed because of covid. We finally got the 6 month mark of no couch and decided we had enough. We stop in the store only to be told “oh your order is being shipped out tomorrow from California” it will take 10-15 days maximum. We said ok this is their absolute last chance. 3 weeks go by, we call and no one at the store has any clue AGAIN about the whereabouts of our order. We stopped in a few days later to get a full refund in person, and they told us “oh we have your order; we attempted to call both of you and no one answered!” A complete lie! No missed calls or voicemails. So we said ok let’s see it! They took us next door to their sketchy warehouse full of wrapped pieces of furniture and showed us what was “allegedly” our order. The only correct part of it was the brand! Not even the right pieces of furniture or fabric. I would steer completely clear of this place! Take the good reviews with a grain of salt and trust the bad ones! I wouldn’t have taken the time to write all this out if it weren’t our genuine experience!
