New York Pizza — Restaurant in Malden

Just went in there to get change for quarters to put in the meter next to their restaurant and the guy refused. I went in there and there was a lady in front of me and a guy behind me waiting in line. While I was waiting in line I saw the guy(one of the cooks) handling French fries with his bare hands and no gloves. He then served the lady in front of me and I asked if I could have change while he had the register open and he ignored me. Then he served the guy behind me and completely ignored me and my question. In the middle of cashing out the guy behind me, he then said that he did not have change for me because he works all day to get those quarters. I said ok and walked away. I needed the quarters to put in the meter to eat at the pizza place with my family, but after that incident I will never go back again. He was rude and should have better customer service. Next time if they don’t want to give people change to park in the lot to eat at their restaurant, they should just place a sign saying “sorry no change for the meters” and save people the trouble of having to ask. Luckily the lady in front of me worked at the metro pcs across the street and kindly offered to give me change for my dollar. Shout out to her.

Get new workers or train them better with customer service. I would give zero stars but I have to at least put 1. And I give that star to the lady...

went into today for slices & the girl at front counter took my order for the BBQ slices & than the guy went to left to get pizza slices & than I asked the girl what's the difference than he left put bbq slices in oven to heat up than couple seconds go by the girl at front counter said something in her language to the guy who putting slices/preparing pizza than all of sudden they took my slices out of oven & than replaced slices from the other side of the display where pizza slices were in glass display, asking the girl who told you change my slices & why you did that & never told you I had any problems with anything & also told the girl please do not speak for me I can speak to anyone on my own if I have any problems with services I told the girl do not do that again cause she talked another language to the pizza preparer which I didn't understand what she told him & than 2 bbq slices were burnt/chicken was very very very dry I was on my lunch hour so it was very inconvenience they serve people this way & than called the Pizza shop to tell them my experience I had than she hung up the phone very fast which I thought was very unprofessional, I don't go into this shop for anything free but do expect what I pay for is Satisfactory & you are able to eat the food & do not have to throw anything away due to the old pizza they are...

So I’m not sure how their pizza is, because It was for my 11 year old son. He loves pizza like every kid! We live locally, but have never been before.. So I just picked him up from grandma’s and it was late, but he was hungry. I drove by and saw that the lights were still on. I went in and the young man said they were “closed” so I said “it’s ok, do you know where I can get a slice for my son?!” He said hold on, let me check! And he got a slice out of the fridge and heated it up quickly and refused to take payment. It’s not that I don’t have money and insisted on paying, But he didn’t accept it. And it was 45 mins after closing!! .. I always see young kids in there and now I know why. Their kind ways must go very far. So If you want pizza, please give this place a try. In a world where you could be anything, they choose to be kind. ♥️ We will definitely be back for more pizza. I’m in the industry so We’ll be paying it forward and tipping...
