I am a huge Kung Fu Tea fan and visit most of their local shops around here regularly. I showed up in opening day, and was “okay”, new shop, learning curve to get up and running. Made 4 visits since that day, and don’t see customer service improving. I am very disappointed to see that the owner is not more proactive towards getting and retaining her new customer base, using “we just opened” as to why they do not have the Kung Fu rewards program available and not honoring promo emails. This is an strong selling point for continued repeat business. I am not impressed with this franchise store or the owner, as I found her to be condescending and unhelpful and not at all customer centric. Every other store if you ask for extra bubbles will do so (we are talking like 5 extra) She also did not honor the 4th of July email promotion that King Fu Tea HQ sent out, or the other two I brought in on the days noted in the emails. I probably will not come back here again, as I am more than willing to drive the extra miles to Centreville for evening Bubble Tea despite I live only 4 minutes from this location. During day hours, I will go instead to Texas Donuts and get their Bubble Tea. The owner and staff are much friendlier and have great customer service. So she got the red bean milk tea. Little did we know it came with actual beans in the bottom along with the tapioca. She took a sip and had a mouthful of beans which really grossed her out,Our mistake but it was an honest mistake. We asked if we could get a new one and to my surprise the lady ringing us out was charging me again. After I already just paid nearly 20 dollars for our order moments before of two drinks. I assumed they would just switch out the drink for us. And have good customer service. I asked the employee why she was going to recharge me and she kind of laughed and me and said “ what did you think was in it? And made me pay another $6.00 for the new drink. Then the employee behind her said “ throw the other one way behind you” Very rude employees and extremely poor customer service. Well be finding a new tea spot to go to together...
   Read moreThis location has really bad customer service and I will never go there again. I made an order through the app to "order ahead", but ended up waiting 30 minutes for my drink to be made. Mind you, I got to the store 15 minutes after I placed the order and I usually get my order made literally within 5/10 minutes in other locations. I also saw other online orders get made after mine and people coming to pick them up. The staff first said the order takes time, but after 20 minutes I asked again and that's when they finally checked their system and said it had "issues". I can understand a system issue, but they didn't bother to follow up with me even after there were no customers in the store and I had clearly been waiting there for a long time. After I got my drink, it was so sweet, way beyond the sugar level I requested, and the boba was not fresh - I got a mix of soft and super hard ones.
