🍣🌶️🍜Nestled in the very spot where a failing cafe once stood, Wasabiko has emerged as a shining culinary gem. I still remember the days when they operated as a small eatery within Oh! Market, delivering tantalizing flavors that left me craving more. Needless to say, I had high expectations upon stepping into their new venture.

Our culinary journey began with a fiery kick as we delved into their spicy tuna poke and bulgogi udon. The udon, served piping hot, brought warmth to both body and soul. I must admit, I relished the scorching temperature—it was like a comforting hug on a chilly day. However, a touch too much salt stole some of the dish's potential glory. With a bit less salt, it would have soared to a solid 5-star masterpiece. Note to self: Next time, I'll kindly request a lighter hand on the salt! 🌡️✨

Meanwhile, my wife's poke bowl had her taste buds dancing in delight. She even claimed it surpassed the renowned Pokemian's poke bowl—a statement not to be taken lightly. I trusted her judgment and savored the knowledge that Wasabiko had surpassed such a formidable competitor. 🥢🐟

As I embarked on this gastronomic adventure, one small desire lingered in my mind—I wished they offered complimentary matcha green tea. After all, a touch of authentic matcha could elevate their already remarkable hospitality to new heights. It's a small detail that could make a significant impact. 🍵✨

Aside from my matcha musings, the atmosphere at Wasabiko was simply delightful. Their impeccable service ensured that every need was met, adding to the overall enjoyment of our experience. A warm and welcoming ambiance embraced us as we indulged in their delectable offerings. 🌟

In conclusion, Wasabiko has successfully established itself as a destination for Korean sushi and poke enthusiasts. With a few minor tweaks to perfect their already impressive dishes, they have the potential to become a true culinary sensation. I eagerly await my next visit, confident that Wasabiko's tantalizing flavors and superb service will continue to...

They don't have any normal rolls, eg, no salmon rolls, no tuna rolls, just fancier rolls like rainbow rolls and the like. Thus the rolls cost about 12-14 dollars. The size of the rolls are SMALL for what you paid for, especially compared to regular sushi restaurant rolls. Honestly one of the rolls should have been twice as big, and the other one should have been 1/3 bigger.

The poke bowl I ate was OK, it seemed decently priced. My husband had a bulgogi bowl and it was just OK.

A black woman tried to pick up an order, and the Asian man behind the counter the whole time she was there gave her nothing but crap. I saw everything, he started it. All she was trying to do was see if the order she was picking up was on the order table, where the sign says "Pick up orders here." He would not STFU either, he just kept being angry and talking loudly to himself. I got secondhand embarrassment just watching. I just paid over $70 for meh sushi and the owner starts a fight with a Door Dasher? That's just plain trashy.

The place is small and cramped to eat in.

I am never going back and I recommend you...

This place is simply amazing. I've had sushi from just about every spot available in Manassas. This place knocks it out of the park. Not only was everything presented beautifully. Everything was prepared with perfection. Prices are spot on!

So far I've tried a shrimp tempura roll. Absolutely nailed it with the right flavor and perfect amount of crunch to the tempura. I would like to know that it was done correctly with fried shallots rather than onion like other places will cheap out.

My favorite so far was the fish spring roll. The salmon and tuna really stood out as fresh. The mango and crab that was in it paired really nice with the avocado. Not to mention it looked absolutely fantastic. I almost felt bad getting into it.

And with the purchase of sushi you get a free cup of miso soup which was absolutely tasty as well.

Spouse and I will definitely be back. If you have any doubts definitely check this place out. Also take a look at the grocery store, great prices and a fantastic variety of everything...

Not exactly what I was expecting for a sushi joint with a 4.9 rating. I'm here in Manassas on business. Got to this place and it was TINY. Saw some really good looking sushi reviews and the menu they had was pretty small. They really only had salmon and tuna for raw stuff so not too impressive. I tried 2 rolls, strawberry bubble tea and some sushi. The sushi tastes fresh so that's a plus. The rolls just didn't have the flavor from the sushi I've had. The bubble tea was like a smoothie with bobba in it and it was really good. The service i thought was really good, they are very nice and interact with their customers and their kids. Personally i think they need to dial in their menu if they are going to be as tiny as they are. Ditch the K-food and stick with sushi and poke, bring in more raw fish and focus on sushi/poke. Dont forget some smoked salmon! Good luck guys and thanks. btw we used to have a poke place that offered vermicelli rice noodles (cold) as a base and it was amazing. Have not seen that at any other place*

As a Hawaiian, my family and I were happy to find a poke bowl and bulgogi restaurant. However, you can’t customize the ingredients for the Poke Bowl. My wife is allergic to onions. You get what they give you with no changes or exceptions. If you order sushi, they try to give you the premade stuff instead of making it fresh. The kids strawberry boba tea immediately separated and it didn’t taste good. We also ordered the beef bulgogi udon noodles. They forgot the beef bulgogi and the food was so overly salted it was inedible. The kids did eat some of the fries. But nothing else was edible. It definitely wasn’t worth the money we spent for my family. Hopefully the owners can turn it around.
