I will start by saying that the pizza is decent. Nothing special, but reasonable. It also seems to be the only pizza that's actually open on a weekday evening in fall, which would explain why they were so busy. But with that said, I am from New York City, and I am used to busy. i'm not really bothered by it. But it does not excuse rudeness. My order was taken by a young pretty woman who immediately had a nasty attitude towards me. She told me it would be an hour, and when I came back and checked in about 45 minutes she told me I could not check in with her in under an hour. So I waited until exactly the time she said I could check in and she just gave me a nasty look and said it's not ready yet and then walked away. I had asked before whether she could just call out my name when it's ready, and she refused. so then what was I supposed to do? They didn't get the pizza ready on time, and they can't call out my name, so do you want me to check in with you every two minutes? Every five minutes? Now because I was sitting around for so long waiting for my food, I had time to observe her. She was rude to the only other person of color who showed up there (which I am as well), but as nice as pie to everyone else, and particularly flirty with the men. Honestly, it's 2023, and she may be related to somebody and therefore has a job there, but it reflects very poorly on the store. Thankfully, an older woman, somebody who looked old enough to be her mother, was very professional and nice and I chose to just talk to her after that. And she had no problem calling out people's names when their pizza was ready. It's honestly not that...
Read moreMy friend Jim and I were hiking the AT for 6 days. We ended our section hike at Emerald Lake. We were tired of packaged food and trail mix so we made a call to Christo’s to see if they delivered that far. The kid that answered told us no. They came within a mile or so to the store down the road. That was more walking than we cared to do so we started looking for other places. Jim decided to call them back to see if that kid knew of other restaurants that delivered. Unexpectedly, an older gentleman answered the phone. We told him about our hike and how we just wanted to order lunch, for right away, and dinner for later by the fire. He told us not to worry that he would personally deliver it all to us! Amazing! It was a big order so smart on his part and also very kind. We gave him a large tip and thanked him for hooking us up. He followed up a little later thanking us for the tip and order. I am planning on coming back to camp at Emerald Lake next year and I will be bringing my family to Christo’s for some great food and to say, hi. Turkey bacon panini is outstanding! The large Christo’s calzone was no match for two hungry hikers! Delicious. Please visit this...
Read moreWe are Pizza People Within our travels we came across this cute place..
Here is our review
Pros:
Great Flavor Great Pan Crust Good amount of toppings Fresh
Cons:
More Cheese Please… Although the pizza did have some cheese it was very light amount of cheese ( see photos) When you were able to remove the pepperoni and find no cheese underneath it’s almost like having a pepperoni bread not a pepperoni pizza there needs to be cheese moderate amount
“Especially for the price that’s been charged”
$ 30 Cost- included $2 tip Medium 16” 1/2 pepperoni and cheese and 1/2 pineapple bacon ham ( Somewhat pricey) but however if you’re paying for a good quality pizza with fresh toppings it can be expected however the cheese was sparse as mentioned above
We would recommend a visit this location because the food was good the pepperoni had a spice to it and the toppings are delicious. The crust was crispy and the sauce had flavor with no acidic feeling...
