Jamerican Cuisine Food Truck LLC — Restaurant in Manchester

We visited the Jamerican food truck for the first time today. The food was outstanding - some of the best I've had in the area - this place is well worth the trip.

Friendly and helpful service, and a nice tent with two tables for seating. We were there during a quieter time; however, our food came out quickly and was wonderfully presented. We ordered the jerk pork and goat curry meals.

The jerk pork is delicious - crispy boneless bbq pork with jerk seasoning and sauce - the jerk sauce has good spice and is not overly 'hot' - sort of a combination of sweet, sour, and spicy - you can always spice it up with a bit of the scotch bonnet hot sauce available at the tables.

The goat curry is also great - you may encounter a few easy-to-pick-out bone chunks, but otherwise boneless chunks of tender goat meat in a flavorful warmly-spiced curry.

For sides, meals include rice/beans, vegetable, potato salad, fried plantains. I am not a potato salad fan, and didn't feel like fried plantains (my companion was more than happy to take them off my hands), but the rice and beans were top notch, topped with a similar sauce to the jerk pork. The vegetable today was shredded cabbage and bell peppers.

I left happy and quite full. Don't let the prices worry you - this is a very good value - really, a great deal - in that you are getting skillfully prepared, flavorful food that will absolutely fill you up in a good way! Will definitely be back and hope to...

MUST GO. We enjoyed everything and it’s probably Some of the best chicken you can find in town. If you’re newer to the cuisine I recommend trying the brown stew chicken - it’s deliciously seasoned and well cooked chicken in a stew sauce with rice and peas, steamed vegetables and plantains on the side. If they have fresh juice available don’t even hesitate, order it. Very friendly folks and convenient to either grab and go or eat at a table outside.

I got food from here for the first time today, and I regret not getting it sooner. Although I've only tried one of the meals from their menu thus far, I can easily say this is one of my new most favorite food joints. I got the goat curry and rice, spicy, and I couldn't imagine it being tastier. Though the heat may be much to some, it is so incredibly appropriate to the flavor of the curry that it doubles the experience.
