QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Manhattan

Normally I would give this location a 5 star rating but not for my most recent experience. Every time that I've been there in the past the staff has always been so friendly and helpful. I usually order tacos with the corn shell, because that shell breaks easily they always double them up for me free of charge. Except this last time when I requested that they be doubled up the lady gave me attitude, informed me that they're not supposed to do that and rolled her eyes at me. Later after looking at my receipt I noticed that I was double charged I called the store right away and spoke to the supervisor. He was was apologetic for the mistake went ahead and reverse it right away which I am grateful for. However when I complained about his staff member he told me that he was sure she didn't intend to come off rude and apologized. I'm pretty sure anyone who rolls their eyes are intending to be rude. Jordyn is the best manager I've seen in any business and I've worked a lot of different jobs in my life the pride the manhattan store takes is outstanding we're not just serving out food to members of the community and people traveling but we make real connections we know our patrons by name (if you come very regularly) some of you dont even tell us what you want unless your changing it up and some already have thier bowl or burrito or whatever they might normally order sitting at the register as soon as the door opens and I just wanna say thank you Qdoba you make me not only feel valued but like I have a home away from home good food and good people and to the rest of the crew at the manhattan store im not gonna name everyone of you that would take forever but everyone of you...

It's definitely a Chipotle contender. It definitely appeals to people who want a better Mexican style fast food but are not kin to cilantro. They have pickled red onions that are delicious. I personally prefer the ground beef taco meat at QDoba. I have also gotten excellent service. One time it was very early and they didn't have the fajita veggies ready. She jump and made them on the slot. It was a little more wait but it was delicious and she showed that she wanted to serve good food. Other places they would just say, sorry we don't have them right now. So thumbs up to that...
