Imperial Garden offers a quick selection of Chinese, fast-food style. Let me say this, if you really know me, I DON'T eat the typical [Americanized] Chinese that many people get. Instead, I get the traditional. Here's MY Tip that many locals don't know: If you go to the counter, there are two black binders that have the entire menu of authentic Chinese dishes that you can order. In this case, it's more of your traditional dishes that many [Asian] students/clientele eat. I would NOT pass that up because the food is indeed delicious! Even if you don't know how to order it, you can simply just write down the order number on a ticket, handed to them, and all you have to do is pay. Simple and easy! Great food, great service! Do know that they're closed...

Ordered the shrimp fried rice noodles.....shrimp was teeny tiny salad shrimp, flavor was just tolerable and the price was high with respect to both quality and quantity. **Personal rant...they only allow a military discount for "regular menu items" So my meal was full price (granted the 10% military discount is a joke for serving and protecting the United States of America..but, I digress) The shrimp fried rice noodle is a "Chef special order item" (even though not discounted or on sale)...Therefore it did not qualify for the military discount...Personal rant aside..food was mediocre at best. Just my opinion, but I will NOT be returning nor will I recommend any of my colleagues, acquaintances, family, neighbors or...

I received $20 in gift certificates for this restaurant. On 12/29/2013 I ordered $12.34 in food and provided $15 in gift certificates as payment. They refused to either provide cash for change or provide a certificate with the cost difference. They expect their customers to lose the difference when using gift certificates!!! This is robbery!!! I asked to speak with a manager and I asked him why anyone would ever purchase a gift certificate from them; he stated that he didn't know. Dumb policy and extremely poor customer service!!! I would sometimes drive from Junction City, KS for their food but I will never never go back. I told the manager I would not be back and he shrugged...
