I was a little disappointed tonight. I was looking forward to a grilled chicken salad. I had one about 3 weeks ago and it was fantastic but this time they put some of the worst tomatoes I've seen in a restaurant. One of the tomatoes was mostly green and one was actually spoiled. I could tell just looking at it. I don't understand how the person that made this salad couldn't see what poor quality they were. I had 5 tomatoes 1 of them was rotten and 2 were mostly green. The 2 I ate had good flavor though. They should have just put 2 on the salad rather than the nasty ones that were on it. I would have thought it kinda sparse but I wouldn't have been grossed out. The server didn't ask me what kind of dressing I wanted and I had forgotten to make the request so she just brought me ranch instead of coming back to ask if it was okay. After we were first seated I went back to the podium area to see if the special for the day was posted. The young man asked if he could help me and I told him what I was doing. He said the special was the pork chops. I was going to ask him another question when another Associate walked up to him and started talking and he just blew me off and started a conversation with her. If he was observant, he would have seen me glaring at the two of them and known I wasn't finished. I think it was rude of her to blast in there and start talking to him and it was rude of him not to tell her to hold on a minute while he finished his conversation with the customer. I just walked away...fuming! I have always liked Cracker Barrel. I've lived in Florida and Texas and have always had good service and good food but it seems to be hit or miss with this store. When my husband and I first moved here in 2020 we went twice and had less than pleasant experiences so we haven't been back until 3 weeks ago. We had great food and service so we decided to go again tonight and like I said... It's hit or miss. I will say that when we paid our bill the Associates at the register were very pleasant. Lite conversation and a little laughter...

Read moreMost poorly run harbor freight I've ever visited. Select two large items and took paper claim tags to cash register only to find out not in stock. Most harbor freight stores pull claim tags if not available. Stop wasting people's time waiting in line. Would help if you had more than one...
