Let me start by saying I believe we went on a bad night. I'll rereview if we go back. We waited a good while before being seated and the hostess apologized/complained about the difficulty of the seating that night. Servers could be heard complaining about receiving tables. We sat in the bar area and our server was clearly very rushed and slightly frustrated to have received another table. I ordered a lemon drop cocktail and YES! One of the best lemon drops I've ever had!
For food, we ordered mozzarella cheese sticks, parmesan truffle fries, marinara meatballs, and my husband ordered chicken parm. All of our food was a little off. The cheese sticks were clearly overdone on one side and cooked ok on the other. They tasted fine though. The meatballs were good. My son really enjoyed it. I ended up with a piece of plastic in mine, but stuff happens. Our Parm truffle fries were cold and dead at service. The worst was my husband's chicken Parm which was burned BLACK at service. The server dropped our items and walked away. My husband did try it in case it was just from old oil, but it was inedible. It took a good 10 minutes to be able to speak with our server who walked away in the middle of our conversation. The manager came over and was very nice and understanding. She took my husband's frustration well as he refused a new plate because he didn't trust the complaint would be received well by the kitchen.
We asked to have only the chicken Parm and the fries removed from the bill as they weren't eaten, but Nicole made it right by actually comping all the food and only charging for our drink. We appreciated that. We tipped the server on the total of the bill rather than just what we were charged. We did not see her again. I hope she understands that a bad night should never impact the guest's experience and tomorrow is a better day. Each interaction with a table is a chance to turn a...
Read moreMy lovely fiance and I were delighted by our experience tonight. Everyone from the host to our server Marcellus, to the chefs were absolutely amazing. We were treated extremely well. We ordered the mozzarella marinara, which was absolutely delicious, very creamy with good cheese pull and the sauce perfectly balanced and complimented the appetizer with its acidity. My fiancé ordered the fettuccine wissie, the sauce was creamy, the protein was cooked and seasoned perfectly. He ordered a house ceaser salad and it beat his expectations. I ordered the mezzaluna which has a delectable, creamy sauce, the pasta for both of our dishes was both seasoned well and cooked perfectly, the filling of the mezzaluna was very well balanced against the sauce and expertly executed. My side was the house salad with creamy garlic sauce, it had a very good portion size along with everything else. We have absolutely zero complaints, every time we come here everyone is absolutely amazing, you can tell the team take great pride in their work and they work extremely well together, we never had to wait on drinks, all of our food was well paced and flowed perfectly for a quiet date night for two. They have fantastic drink options, sadly we did not parktake but they are worthwhile, especially their wine selection, they even offer drink pairing to menu items and they always compliment the dish they are recommended with. We will happily keep coming back to this Carrabba's is it our favorite Italian food date...
Read moreHey manager/owner. Every time we come we specify our pasta to be AL DENTE! Would someone teach that to your cooks please! You burned us too many times now so we will not return. All your long pasta tastes like yesterday's left overs. So my pasta pescatore meal was 4 shrimp, 4 scallops(had no taste.. are they real?)and 6 mussels. Left all the pasta. The waiter who was told how many times we put up with over cooked pasta asked if we wanted our food re cooked. NO! We said. We left hungry and went to a favorite pizzeria and got what we asked for. The owner being a true Italian knew what to do. By the way, he was busier than you were tonight. FYI it was 4 pm on labor day. Fire that kitchen shift. After we left swearing to never return we realized that maybe you don't care about the minor details but to Italians...this is the only reason to eat Italian food in a restaurant. Be careful, you are becoming Olive Garden! Oh one more thing. Those wine glasses you leave on the table is disgusting. People who don't use them, touch them by moving them out of the way... So you give me a fixed response because you really don't care. BTW it was titled "response from the owner"? I hope corporate sees my feedback. Over cooked old pre cooked pasta is not how this restaurant got big. I know many Italian people who will only eat Italian food out at Carrabbas. Now you are becoming Olive Garden and you will lose the Italians. We will...
