Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Manheim Township

As an award winning chef, I can’t begin to say what a gem this is, Go ahead and read every chain restaurants reviews practically state wide and you’ll be lucky to find anything that even comes up to the shoelaces of this establishment and after today, I think I’ve found out why….

When We picked this and entered, We we’re met by the fabulously polite Natalie, And Her Very Organized and Professional Manager Harry, We told him we picked this place specifically because we like to travel with Our Dogs and even though we live closely we never thought of Chili’s as a spot where you can see A clear view of pretty much 80% of the parking lot from the interior seating, When we arrived there was already a line (there always seems to be a full house but a limited wait Here every time we’ve driven by now o know why it’s Harry’s Excellent time management, organization, and Superior managerial skills that makes for a Customer experience that won’t just meet, but Will far exceed your customer expectations) I saw a booth that would be perfect for the view of Our Large locked van with the pups inside, we would have a clear view of them the entire time, He said He would still have to put us on the list in line and order but would save that seat for us so we could peacefully rest assured we could enjoy eating there while not having to worry about the line of sight with Our Dogs, He was exceptional on every sense of the word and likely will be the reason why we feel confident in our hopes to return many many times, Next, We we’re greeted by Cole our server who was very kind and didn’t leave us needing for anything, I have to say Damian however really should be a server also, While He seemed to take on a Helper Role, He was a bright star in this experience, He smiled a lot and had a great kindness about him that I feel would reward future guests and put someone like him who deserves every opportunity or promotion a company can give someone as friendly and attentive as Him a best possible career path forward that He clearly deserves, He was so personable, friendly, and Had refills on seconds and wanted to make sure everything exceeded our hopes for our visit and they did Damian was really exceptional also and I really believe He Should be a server, because the guests experience would benefit, plus, I don’t know what He makes but with a personality as great as that, He would make a Solid living serving because We would’ve happily given him Half if not all of the fifteen dollars tip we left because He was Awesome

Speaking of awesome, Let’s talk food, The fajitas seemed to be what everyone was ordering now I see why, I must’ve seen twenty plates from the kitchen come sizzling by, they’re a spectacle and people love em’ that’s why they’re usually so popular, Not Here, Here they’re popular because they are Lick the plate clean good, I’m embarrassed to say that in a review but usually by the time one, let alone three proteins make it to a table for fajitas they’re blown and far past their prime, Not Here, each Was as perfectly executed as the other, The shrimp were so succulent the steak juicy and seemed as tender as if it were butter poached, and that chicken, it was so tender I don’t know what was left Holding it together, Chili’s could seriously save a lot of money and just become a fajita place because I always say even if you do one thing we’ll you could have a very successful business and they do everything well Here, every single component from Prep cook to finished product on the plate was made as if it were lovingly attended to in the hopes it would speak for the excellence of a trained professionals behalf, I Thoroughly enjoyed my five star visit and know you will too so put the phone down, pick up the keys and get over to Chilis on Manheim Pike ASAP Because you don’t know what you’re missing until you’re like me at almost ten o’clock at night and craving those fajitas again!

It was Christmas Eve day around half past noon. My 24 year old son is a big fan of Chili's. We had spent the morning up in Harrisburg and we were east bound on 283 East and my son said he was hungry and I was as well. The server was very attentive and she was clearly an experienced server and as such she didn't bombard us with our salads appetizers and ultimately the lunch entree outstanding I do not like being rushed when I'm out for lunch dinner or breakfast for that matter. I have the Delmonico steak medium rare overstuffed baked potatoes broccoli and shrimp on top of the steak. I am not a dyspeptic however if something isn't prepared properly I let the server know so the kitchen can correct it. I didn't have to deal with any of that so my son and I had a nice relaxing luncheon together. I value the time I get to spend with my son and he's a busy young man at age 24 he is a veteran having served and Iraq and Syria in addition he's married and going to college. He also works full-time job during the week and weekends and his wife is a registered nurse and she works long shifts as well so they have to be careful when budgeting their time to spend with each other or family the food was outstanding! My steak what is charbroiled to an almost perfect medium rare so no complaints there the shrimp and butter we're on top of the steak which always adds a nice extra treat when you are eating out it is so often my steak it isn't prepared properly. Not this day I can't remember what my son ordered. However the long and the short of it. Chili's on Manheim Pike in Lancaster County, PA. Was most definitely on their game this afternoon of the 24th of December 2019. And I can say I've visited Chili's on over a dozen different occasions over the years. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. The restaurant was clean top to bottom as far as what a diner could see during their visit. So that's a big big plus for any restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this Chili's location two friends family and folks from out of town looking for a nice place to have a nice meal for lunch for dinner. If there were 10 Stars I would have given at 9 because nowhere is perfect. So if you're in the area and your stomach is telling you feed me stop in at Chili's and enjoy a Tex-Max lunch for dinner at the Chili's on Manheim Pike in Lancaster County...

We ordered the party platter triple dipper for takeout. Sauce from our honey chipotle chicken crispers ran across the entire bottom of the party platter tray onto our crispy chicken crispers, and southwestern egg rolls. So it left no option for anyone not wanting the spicy chipotle sauce on their food. We ordered a gallon of the strawberry lemonade which was not filled to the gallon line and was actually about an inch below the line which is clearly marked on the side of the bag container the juice comes in. The strawberry lemonade also had an aftertaste that resembles chlorinated tap water to me which made it unpleasant. We also were not given any sauces for such a large order of chicken and 6 egg rolls which both come with a sauce.

The party platter triple dipper says it serves 8 people yet only came with 6 egg rolls, so this leaves two people unable to have an egg roll. We called and politely asked the lady who answered the phone, “how many southwestern egg rolls comes with the party platter triple dipper?”, she couldn’t answer but directed our call to a man who was very rude the moment he picked up the phone. After politely asking him the same question, he gave a long pause then answered 6, and immediately tried to hang up the phone.

I would suggest to the restaurant manager/owner to begin using a party platter tray that has sections with walls to prevent sauce/food spilling onto anything else. I would also suggest that staff checks orders to ensure condiments are given which comes with the meal to avoid complaints. And if a menu item states that it serves 8 people, please clearly mention if it only comes with a portion...
