This particular outpost presented a curious case file...a relic of a bygone era, an elusive McDonald's Play Place! The exterior, a modern and sterile facade, with its signature golden arches and a sleek, gray and yellow motif, belied the chaotic energy within. i experiencedn a six-minute wait for a simple McChicken sandwich. In my line of work, six minutes can be the difference between a city saved and a city in chaos. However, credit must be given where it's due. The "runner," the operative who delivers the payload to the customer sent to wait in a parking space, did not merely retreat after the exchange. He stood his ground, a true guardian of quality control, and confirmed the order's accuracy. His intel was invaluable; he openly admitted, "they've been messing up orders today." A candid confession from the front lines. The crew at the service window seemed to be operating under a "jolly crew" directive, with laughter and joviality echoing out. While this is a welcome change from the grim reality of Gotham's streets, one must question if the fun was distracting them from their mission parameters. Detective Tips The Unseen Lair: This location has a play place. A rarity in this day and age. If you have any young Robins or allies-in-training, this could be a strategic location for a daytime rendezvous. Confirm Your Intel: As my mission proved, it is crucial to confirm your order's accuracy. A quick review of the receipt and the contents of the bag can prevent a tactical failure and a return trip. Beware of Distractions: While a pleasant atmosphere is welcome, be aware that a team having "too much fun" can lead to operational errors. Remain vigilant and double-check your order. The chaos of a jolly crew can be a deceptive cover for a sloppy operation. Final Verdict: This McDonald's is a fortress of contrasts. It’s a modern building with a vintage heart (the play place), and a friendly crew with a questionable record of mission accuracy. The service was redeemed by an honest operative, but the wait time was a clear deviation from standard operating procedure. While not a high-priority target for a crime-fighting mission, it's a solid, if slightly unpredictable, spot for a quick refuel. Just be sure to verify your intel before...
Read moreWas there at 8:30 pm one night and tried to order some food from my car... 1) The girl on the speaker when ready for me just said... Yes? Not hello, welcome or anything similar.. just yes 2) The employee's attitude did not get any better when I started to order my food... 3) Once I said what I wanted I got silence... not a please hold, just silence 4) After 20-30 seconds of silence, I imagined that for some reason I did not heard the "please proceed" so I did move to the window.. 5) Once at the window I see 2 women talking and again.. I am ignored.. 6) After a little bit, this young girl with piercings all over her face, opens the window and said " We do not have cappuccino" .. followed by " so what you want" ... all of the above with a very disrespectful and annoyed attitude... 7) At this point I asked to talk with a manager and here I found out that the manager was the other woman she was talking with.. 8) Once I complained about the manners of the employee, instead of getting something like " I apologize for what just happened", by the way I am 55 years old, so I am not a kid, i got another annoyed " What can I get you" nothing else but a " what can I get you" with a drama queen attitude.
Well, at that point in time, I just could not accept this treatment anymore so I refused the service and told the manager that I would never return...
and the drama queen "Manager" yelled back to me " GOOD, don't come back !!!! "
Conclusion.. I will never return and I suggest to everyone to not bring their kids in this McDonald unless you want them to have a lesson on...
Read moreFood was fine and wait time was short. However, the store was absolutely disgusting. If my small meal I ordered hadn't been the first meal I'd had all day, I wouldn't have eaten it because of hie dirty the store was. The women's bathroom looked like it hadn't been checked all day. The dining area had more dirty tables than clean ones. The floors were sticky and the soft drink station beefed stocked and cleaned up. It was not busy in the store ( it was around 4:00 pm, on a Friday) so there's really no excuse for the mess I saw. To top it all off, the girl who handed me my food looked like SHE hadn't been cleaned up in quite some time! Greasy hair (that was very loosely tied back in a ponytail) and stains all over her clothes. Regardless of my experience, I was pleasant with the two employees I had contact with. The unkempt girl, who handed me my food, was.. I wouldn't say rude, per se.. but dismissive. Hardly made eye contact with me, did not return my smile and said nothing when I thanked her and told her to have a nice day. I will not be stopping at this McDonald's in the future. Note I use to work at a McDonald's in my teenage years and was an assistant manager at an Arby's. I'm no stranger to the fast food industry and how stressful it can be. Nor do I deny how picky/judgemental/rude/ect customers can be. That being said, I have never seen a fast food restaurant as unkempt...
