While I can’t say anything about the food or atmosphere, as a DoorDash driver, this was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. For me, time is money. I arrived at the Manheim Pike location at around 11:05 AM. The orders were to be picked up at 11:08 AM. I told the employee behind the counter that I was picking up for DoorDash and gave him the names on the orders, and he (very unprofessionally) looked at me and said “uhhhh, no”, to mean they weren’t ready. I said “okay, no problem”, and stood and waited. Mind you, the restaurant had maybe one or two people eating, and nobody else in line. The Drive-Thru was being manned by a woman who I presumed to be a manager, and she was taking orders, running around like crazy, busting her butt and getting orders together while the employee behind the counter was wondering around and moving with no sort of urgency. There was another worker in the kitchen area, and another female employee had just arrived when I pulled in for her shift. After about 5 minutes or so, the one order was ready, but the male employee never said anything and I had to eventually identify it myself as he had simply set it on the counter and wondered off out of sight. After a few minutes of waiting, I inquired about the second order and he claimed he was waiting on “fresh” tenders, but I could see there were tenders sitting under the lamps ready, but figured better fresh tenders than not. It took him another 5 minutes to get the drinks for the order ready, and again, he merely sat them on the counter and wondered off again without letting me know if they were for my order. It took nearly HALF AN HOUR to get both DoorDash orders, and it turns out the “fresh tenders” he was claiming he was waiting on was a complete lie, since he grabbed the tenders for my second order FROM THE ONES I HAD SEEN EARLIER. Finally, after setting the order on the counter, before he could wonder off again, I tried to confirm if the drinks he had set down were in fact my drinks, in which he said “uhhh, I don’t know. They all look the same to me. They look like the right ones though.” I can say that after this experience, I will never personally order food from this location and recommend no one else that I know do, and most certainly I will never, ever pick up another DoorDash order here again. Read moreI have no idea how this location is still in business? They offer no indoor seating, yet, your drive-thru experience there will 99% of the time be long and painful. Waited 30 minutes in the drive thru line, when there were only 4 cars ahead of us at the time of arrival. When we finally got up to the order screen, no one greeted us. Nothing.......for several minutes. Finally, we said, "Hello?" to which a woman responded, "We'll be with your shortly." How is that proper customer service? They should've said that as soon as our car reached the screen. In what world is it normal or appropriate for the customer to have to wonder if anyone is working inside because of completely being ignored? Not to mention, her version of "shortly" lasted several more minutes with no communication. Meanwhile, the line behind us continued to grow, with cars almost pouring onto the street. We inquired again, saying "Is anyone there?" only to have the same woman say they needed more time. Finally, about a minute later, some aggressive sounding man asked to take our order.....no apology or empathy whatsoever for the fact that we had been patiently waiting without any communication from them. I will NEVER return to this location again. No wonder Chick fil A does such a better business. Their drive thru lines are normally twice as long, but I guarantee you get through faster than you ever could at this location. Oh, and the worst part was the sandwich was mediocre, at best. Haphazardly thrown together......hardly any may and it was just on 1/2 of the sandwich. Pickled stacked on top of each other instead of next to one another. Read moreWe waited in line for 20 mins or more. Once we got to the speaker they informed us they were only accepting debit cards today. Probably should consider posting that so people don't wait that long if they dont have a card to use. We placed our order. We ordered popcorn shrimp to which we were rudely told that we would have to wait for them. For our drinks we tried to order diet cokes. They were out of diet coke so we had to settle for coke zero. We finally made it to the window to pay. There were 6 employees standing there and one girl was working the soda machine. She clearly didn't know how to do it because the soda was overflowing everywhere. The fryers were very dirty. You could see them from the window. We get our order and drive to the parking lot to eat. We ordered mac and cheese and fries as sides. They were cold and no good. Tasted like powered mac and cheese. No straws were given to us. Instead of 2 coke zeros we got one coke zero and a dr pepper. I called and spoke to the manager Sherry who was rude and could have cared a less about my complaint.
Spent $30 there and it was the worst customer service experience I've had and the food was cold and stale. The manager needs to take some customer service classes because she lacks those skills. Place needs cleaned and...
