1000 Degrees Pizza - Mankato, MN — Restaurant in Mankato

3•13•18 I’ve ate here numerous times and I have been fairly pleased with it until this last time, which is super disappointing because I talked it up to my friend who came there for the first time. I got to 1000 Degrees around 8:25pm and as soon as I walked in I didnt feel welcomed at all. There was one lady working and she was extremely rude so I figured I must be coming as she is trying to close. I asked her if she was trying to close and she responded “not really I guess.” I then asked how late their open and she told me 10pm so I don’t know why I was such an inconvenience. Then while I was trying to order the pizza and was just extremely frustrated with me and I’m not sure why because I ordered a cheese pizza, the most simple pizza there is. Anyway, so once I went through my friend ordered a pepperoni pizza and that was the end of the world to this lady. After ordering we were going to pay and for some reason the chip reader wasn’t working, and that really sent her over the edge. She wanted nothing to do with us. Finally, the two pizzas she made for us were burn to a crisp, she cut it horrible there were 2 pieces that made up for half the pizza and the other 4 were about an inch big. She handed us our pizza without saying a word and we grabbed them, said “thank you” and didn’t hear a word from her at all. I guess overall the pizza itself is pretty good but the worker tonight was absolutely horrible and I don’t think I’ll go back specially...

My experience was... Less than satisfactory. I went with some friends to give this place a go as we were hoping to find a new pizza place to go to. This is definitely not it.

Now, I liked my pizza. I got a parmesan olive oil roman with steak. It was what I wanted. What I DIDN'T want was for the first lady to drop her order tickets on the ground, pick them up, and act like nothing had happened. No glove change, no new tickets, no nothin'. We considered saying something, but we were rushed down the line before we could, amusing since it took forever for us to be able to start our order. Another worker also had a problem as she was constantly chewing on something the entire time we were there. I thought it was against health regulations to do that?

The gal on the cutting/cooking side was good at her job. No joke, not being facetious. Really appreciated her work and dedication.

I may go again with my friends. But considering my friends have already said they would not try...

First time here and even though there were 6 employees they all seemed preoccupied with other tasks. They were kinda standing on top of each other so it led me to believe they weren't really sure what they were supposed to be doing. After waiting for what seemed like forever for the 2 people in front of us to order it was our turn. The girl who took our order couldn't really answer our questions and gave us no assistance even though it was obviously our first time. A man whom I assumed was the manager did end up stepping in and helped with one question. After our order was placed the rest of the experience was good. Spacious and as clean as could be expected for a pizza joint after dinner rush. The food came out fast. I'm a huge pizza fan and was let down by the pizza. I think it's the sauce but the crust was less than tasty as well. Overall I think I will give it one more shot in a few months in order to give them time to work out the new...
