I've been here twice. First time I visited with a buddy and just got drinks. They aren't too expensive here on drinks. Second time I visited with family. We got lunch together and the food is solid. I ordered the meatball sub with thick cut curly fries/wedges. My folks split a tenderloin with mashed potatoes and gravy and an order of loaded fries. The food was mostly positive. My meatball sub was really good. Meatballs were tender and the marinara had great flavor. The thick cut curly fries were unique and quite tasty. The loaded fries were smothered in sauce and toppings, which are how they should be. The tenderloin however was rather tough. It wasn't very tender at all. All in all a positive experience with the food. Atmosphere is alright. We sadly went during an OSU game and it was so loud we could barely hear ourselves talking at the same table. It's a sports bar, not a huge issue. But it does kinda detract from the atmosphere a bit. I never have that issue during games at Roosters or B-Dubs. Will I got back, sure thing. But I'll just make sure no local games are playing first. Edit: Ordered takeout for dinner today. I ordered the lasagna with a side salad, and the loaded sidewinders. My total came to a little over $25. All in all, it was all fine. Nothing great, nothing awful, everything was just....fine. The lasagna was kinda disappointing. Several people in town have told me that MVP's have the best lasagna. And to be fair, it's fine. But for me, it wasn't great. The sauce didn't really have much flavor. And the lasagna itself could have used more seasoning. The sidewinders were again, fine. But there were definitely some misses with them. They were super soggy. I'm guessing they were finished before the lasagna and had to sit for a few mins. The cheese has been melted, but by the time I got home it had nearly solidified again. I only have a 4 min drive to get home. A big positive is there is a lot of jalapenos on the sidewinders. And the taco meat is decent. But again, the fries were just so soggy. The side salad was good. But it's a salad. Not much to screw up there All in all, I'd give this second experience a 2/5. I think it will probably be the last time I visit. It's not that anything has offended me. But there are just a lot of better options available to spend $25 on.

You need to eat here! Great food, great value and great service! Went to visit the Mansfield reformatory and came here to eat. Portions were huge and prices were fair. I got the special for $10 and it came with ziti, stuffed peppers, salad and bread. What a deal! All the food was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. I wish I lived close Soni could make this place my frequent stop. Italian food at a sports bar is different, but I like it. Good atmosphere, had a room for rent, outdoor patio, bar, and indoor seating. I recommend checking them out.

We came here for the second time in our 4 days in the area for inkcarceration! We love this place! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is down home feels where everyone is friendly. The service is amazing, especially K.D. (I think I spelled that right)! She went above and beyond and our glasses were never empty. You owe it to yourself to be treated like an MVP!!!

Had dinner there with a friend of mine who's rather picky and asked a lot of questions about the menu it is just the way he is

Seemed as though it bothered the waitress and one man who appeared to be friends with everybody and was loitering at the bar

The man at the bar kept turning around and giving his dirty looks as my friend was asking questions of the waitress about the food

I ordered sausage and peppers seemed as though the onions were burnt in the mixture sauce is good but again could not break away from the dirty looks of the man at the bar

Older gentleman was sitting at the end of the bar seemed as though he was the owner or manager and I'm sure he could clearly see the dirty looks every time the man at the bar turned around but said nothing to correct it

I'm a general contractor in my friend is a real estate agent neither one of us or anyone we know we'll go to this place again didn't like the vibes not as though this place is in the ghetto in Cleveland and that's what you should tolerate or expect

Maybe they're dirty look throwing buddy at the bar will spend plenty of money to make up for all the money...

We were here for a couple hours on Saturday afternoon, so no idea what nightlife is like. The day we were there a golf group had made a reservation, so the larger room was crowded and a bit loud. But it's a pub, that's to be expected, we didn't hold it against MVP's (the occasional drunk "WOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I hold against the drunk golfers :-p) The waitresses were courtious and checked on our party pretty regularly. The food was good (my wife's chef salad covered a fair size platter, I swear). Overall I was happy with MVP's but I'm not a regular pub bloke, so I can't say if this bar is good or great. The one drawback for the visit might be the parking. But it's not far from downtown Mansfield, so if you're going you likely already know how much parking can be...
