Taco Casa is located on E Broad St in Mansfield, TX, in the Kroger Parking lot right off 360, serving up fast food style tacos and a variety of different Mexican American cuisine to the Community.
I came in during the lunch hours for a quick affordable bite to fulfill my growling stomach and ended up ordering off the kiosk, which was quite simple and easy to do. The day happened to be on a Tuesday, so all hard shell tacos were priced for Taco Tuesdays, and I opted for two hard tacos and a burrito Supreme. Inside the tacos are standard where they come with shredded lettuce, grated cheddar cheese, and ground beef in a crispy hard Taco shell. There are also multiple upgrades you can add to your tacos for extra additional charges such as black olives, jalapeño peppers, and sour cream. I also ordered a Supreme beef burrito with all the extra condiments to go along with the tacos.
Within minutes, the order was ready and presented to me beneath my eyes. The packaging was nicely wrapped with the appropriate attire for each of the items. The hard Taco shell was delightfully crisp, and the fillings complemented each and every item. The shredded lettuce was shredded to perfection with bright, vibrant iceberg lettuce soaking in all of the well seasoned ground beef. The star of the show was the fresh cheddar cheese that was shredded on a cheese grater. I knew they didn't skip out anything that was provided in the components of cheese, which are water, fat, and protein. The Supreme burrito tasted as I expected packed with ground beef, sour cream, tomatoes, and cheese. The tortilla was nice and warm and was rolled perfectly.
Overall, Taco Casa delivered a great fast food environment where I could easily go in and order great quality food that won't break the bank. The customer service was outstanding where I was greeted from the moment I stepped foot inside the fine establishment. There are also signs posted everywhere stating the restaurant will be glad to clean up after you. It was such a great experience with top quality food, but I do wish they had more salsa options provided besides the...
Read moreI ordered nachos and was asked if I wanted peppers and everything on the side, I informed the person taking my order I wanted everything but the peppers. When I got back to work to eat my lunch all I had was stale chips ans cheese. I called multiple times for 15 min before someone finally answered. I informed the person on the phone and she mentioned that I specifically ordered regualr nachos. I began to explain that the order wasn't the issue it was the fact that the chips were stale. I advised maybe not serving chips cooked a day before and she interupted me and rudely said they are not cooked and come out of a bag. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I asked for her name and she hesistated to give it me and finally said her name was B. I asked for a full name and she continued to tell me it was just B. I tried to speak to a supervisor or obtain the number to the corporate office and she stated they do not have a corporate office. When I dismissed the call I was able to find the corporate number and express my concerns. The customer care coming from a manager is the worst I have ever experienced at the Taco Casa in Mansfield off...
Read moreThe service last night with the new young African-American guy in dreads was amazing! It was 9:30pm in the drive through before closing. He had a cheerful attitude, repeated back my order to confirm and then again at the drive thru when I paid. I did not catch his name but complimented him on his customer service skills!
Many of the younger generation don’t care about their job but please give him a reward for doing his job then going above and beyond! This is why I return to this Casa location, ease of access off 360 and Broad. Next to the Kroger’s where I used to work. I would highly recommend this gentleman for a promotion at his next performance review. I have worked in the retail service industry for 22 years and I know how it’s supposed to be done. We all lose motivation at times…yet we need to praise those individuals who actually do give a flip about their job and work hard to get rewarded when warranted. Thanks again Mansfield Casa for hiring awesome staff, keep it up and train new staff to lead in this...
