My Wife and I went through the drive through at the Maple Grove, MN location around 1pm Yesterday 7/19/20. We had a very poor experience. I read off my order once at the drive through, the girl tried to talk me into another option, i said no and repeated myself again. I got to the window to pick up my order, the guy read my order. I said, and two, chicken nugget orders. He said yes. We got going down the road and I only had one chicken nugget out of the two requested. I drove back and got back in line. Waited 10 minutes. I asked for the manager. She talked over me trying to explain how I don't know what it's like to work fast food with only 3 employees. I said yes I do. She continued to argue with me saying no I don't. I use to work for Burger King. I asked her not to talk over me, she said she's not, She then said well what do you want me to do for you as if she hadn't heard my problem of the 2nd order of nuggets. By this time I was getting angry at the extremely poor customer service she was providing me basically wanting empathy from me for her situation. She can not seem to handle a high stress job very well. Or to give the benefit of the doubt that day. Other reviews for this location show poor ratings as well. I'm apparently not the only one who feels this dissapointment. my wife and I don't have a Wendys where we live. I have been craving Wendys for several months and this is the service I got. She would not allow me to explain my dissapointment and only wanted pitty. She then slammed the drive through window in my face as I tried to explain I have worked fast food and I do know what it is like. Despiite that, you never ever, ever as a manager display these behaviors to a customer. I have not had Wendy's for a good year and have been wanting it for such a long time. This experience makes me not want to go back rather than my wishing for a Wendy's in Bemidji, MN. Perhaps she was having a very bad day and personal things going on in her life, but you have to be strong and take care of the customer while making the bad situation right. Not looking for a pitty party. Very dissapointed. Was not a very happy 4 hour ride home to Bemidji, MN from the Maple Grove Wendys. UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. I never did get my 2nd order of nuggets. Never was even asked what size I wanted to begin with. This store location needs re-training and for this to be re-investigated. It may sound weird, but at a hard time in my life Wendys was at one point a happy place where a friend and I used to hang out and shoot the breeze. This was 20 years ago. We still talk about our Wendy's table conversations...
Read moreAs someone who seldom writes positive reviews for fast food joints, I find myself pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to Wendy's. The concept of fast food often brings to mind long lines and rushed service, but Wendy's has successfully subverted that narrative. Despite it being peak lunch hour, the queue moved briskly, a testament to their efficiency.
The staff deserve particular commendation. Displaying a potent mix of friendliness and diligence, they navigated the rush hour effortlessly. They demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction by double-checking orders to avoid any confusion. This attention to detail is a breath of fresh air in an industry where errors are often shrugged off.
Location-wise, this Wendy's branch is conveniently situated. It fits comfortably into the neighborhood, making it an easy choice when the fast food craving hits.
The food, as one would hope, lived up to the standard set by the service. Fresh, hot, and satisfying, it reaffirms why Wendy's holds such a reputable position among fast food chains.
But what elevates this Wendy's is the respectfulness and attentiveness of its employees. They've created an environment where customers feel valued, turning what could be a mundane meal into an enjoyable experience. This establishment stands as a beacon among fast food options in the area.
In conclusion, Wendy's isn't just about fast food - it's about good food, fast service, and an unexpectedly pleasant experience. It's a fast food restaurant that truly lives up to the "fast" and doesn't compromise on quality. For those reasons, I highly...
Read moreProbably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Came to the store at dinner time and one of the doors is locked. Walked around the other side and it was locked too. There were no signs on the doors, but there were people eating in the lobby. So I flagged a worker who was cleaning tables, and he open the door for me. He didn't say anything to me though because he was wearing headphones.
I then stood for several minutes at the counter and had to flag someone down to get help. They actually rolled their eyes at me and told me we were supposed to be locked but the other worker had let me in. They were angry at me that another worker had let me in. I offered to leave but they said "no, what do you want " angrily
They took my order and glared at me the entire time. Then when I asked why they were closed during normal business hours the lady mumbled something unintelligible about getting ready.
Afterward, another person was let in, and the manager actually came out yelling at them "no no my Lobby is closed!". I have never seen guests treated this way in my life.
And to clarify, this is ~4:45pm on a Tuesday.
Edit- also to point out that I'm not irked at all that the store was closed during business hours. Stuff happens, but to treat guests like that when a simple "I'm sorry sir, we had to close unexpectedly" would have been all that needed...
