Having high hopes for a great sushi experience ( it's what we're used to from Sumu Sushi) we choose to dine closer to home. We were greeted and seated out equitably. We asked for glass pours of wine. When we reminded our server that we'd like to actually be SERVED that wine,we proceeded to order an appetizer of tempura calamari. That was a mistake: all tents, no tunbes, served with house salad dressing and fried so deeply that they resembled rubber bands. AND at that point we requested serviette, (there were no chopsticks, napkins or eating utensils of any kind on the table) and miso soup. After not being able to chew the calamari, we ordered a couple of rolls and asked for our miso soup. That was actually served in a relatively timely manner. The entree came and we never got any more service until we flagged her down for our check. We didn't finish our rolls because the paltry amount of Wasabi wasn't enough to share. Could we have gotten more? Probably, if she's bothered to approach out table to inquire about our level of satisfaction. We dine out, in our community at least once a week. We aren't planning to make this establishment part of our rotation. The server was young, and inexperienced; very easily overlooked but it was a travesty to unleash her to work without any training in the points of reasonable service. We hope that you're successful in this new business endeavor but do, please, consider sharpening,...
Read moreAbsolutely loved my experience at Nori Sushi! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The sushi presentation was absolutely stunning – each plate looked like a work of art, with fresh, vibrant ingredients that instantly made my mouth water.
The quality of the sushi was beyond impressive – each piece was impeccably fresh, with not even a hint of fishiness, which speaks volumes about the high standards Nori Sushi maintains. We tried a variety of dishes, from the appetizers to the rolls and even a sushi boat, and every bite was more delicious than the last. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could truly taste the care and skill that went into crafting each piece.
Dessert was a perfect, refreshing finish – the ice cream tasted exactly like fresh-squeezed Japanese oranges, a treat that rounded off an already phenomenal meal. With such a warm and attentive staff, beautiful presentation, and the freshest sushi I've had in a long time, I honestly can't say a single negative thing about Nori Sushi. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional...
Read moreThis place has left me satisfied and would definitely go here again. Food, service, and atmosphere were all really delightful.
Food: I ordered the beef teriyaki entree and was really delicious. Good sauce, good beef. Gordon Ramsay would have a :] on his face eating this.
Service: Never have I ever had bad service (thank the Pharo) and this store does not break the streak. The waiters were kind and understanding. On top of that, the food was delivered fairly fast! Gordon Ramsay would have :] on his face because of the speed.
Atmosphere: Good, peaceful, and comfy. The booths were comfortable to sit on (I've yet to try the chairs and probably will not since booths are superior). One critique I have is the uhhhh... Nevermind I don't have any complaints. Gordon Ramsay would have a :] on his face because of the vibe.
With all this being said, this was a crazy good place and I will definitely make sure to come back here again. (I will also make sure that if I ever make another review (this was my first ever by the way) that it will not...
