Okay, listen.....I don't leave a ton of reviews, but when I go somewhere that is exceptional, I have to spread the word! So here goes..... you have to go check out Roaring Indian Plates and Pours in Maple Valley, Wa!!!!!
We celebrated my husbandās birthday there last night from a recommendation and it was one of the best dining experiences weāve ever had! From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
The owner, Cinu, personally served us alongside their bartender Ravi, and both were so kind, attentive, and welcoming - it felt like we were guests in their home. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that set the stage for the meal.
The drinks from the bar were unique, creative, and spot-on, thanks to Raviās talent ( the spicy jalapeƱo drink was exceptional, but i drank it too fast to get a photo (sorry). The food was not only delicious but also plated beautifully - each dish looked as amazing as it tasted. I had the butter chicken curry with coconut rice and garlic naan, and it was absolute perfection (If it weren't for the separate plate, I may have eaten it all-it was so good)! My husband loved the Drunk Monk Chicken, we devoured the tacos appetizer (so fast that I didn't even think to get a photo), and ended on a sweet high note with the chocolate dosa for dessert. Every bite was packed with flavor and so thoughtfully prepared.
This is more than just a restaurant -itās an experience. Maple Valley is incredibly lucky to have a place like this, and I canāt recommend it enough. If youāre looking for amazing food, stunning drinks, gorgeous presentation, and the warmest hospitality, you have to give them a try!
Please support this gem......youāll leave already planning your next...

This afternoon, four of our family members had lunch at your restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed. We ordered a variety of dishes: Starter: Tandoori Chicken Main Course: Lamb Rogan Josh Breads: 2 Butter Naans & 1 Egg Paratha Desserts: Two different varieties
Each item was truly exceptional in taste, and we could sense the attention to quality and authentic flavors in every bite.
Our Ratings: Tandoori Chicken ā 4.5/5 Lamb Rogan Josh ā 4.5/5 Butter Naans & Egg Paratha ā 4/5 Desserts ā 4/5
Having lived in Maple Valley for the past 9 months (previously in Bellevue), I regularly order from various Indian restaurants through DoorDash or dine in at least thrice a week. Based on my experience across Indian eateries in Maple Valley, Kent, Bellevue, and Redmond, I can confidently say that the taste at your restaurant surpasses them all. The flavors, freshness, and preparation truly stand out.
However, Iād like to offer one sincere suggestion: The pricing felt slightly on the higher end. For the same kind of order, most well-known restaurants typically charge around $60ā$70, whereas our bill came $102 here. While your taste justifies a premium to some extent, aligning the pricing closer to market standards could make your restaurant even more appealing. With competitive pricing, Iām certain youāll see a surge in both dine-in and online orders.
Honestly, I only heard about your restaurant this morning from a friendās family who visited yesterday for the first time, and Iām so glad we did too.
Keep up the amazing work š„ With a bit more visibility and price optimization, your place has all the makings of a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe menu is vastly confusing with fusion combinations that are simply not necessary. The dosa was somewhat good but the sambar and other accompaniments were meager and it wouldn't cost any more to provide a little more like other restaurants. I'll never order tacos or other things at an Indian restaurant. Everything is overpriced. $8.00 for naan?...really? I saw that the menu had been adjusted to $6.00...again, really?...so you could really sell it for $2.00 and have a busier restaurant with more people to try it. Sambal isn't Indian. When there are lots of "fusion" options, it becomes a game of "what to risk trying?" One tends to accept that the food may not taste authentic and everything is either a mystery or just not that good and assuming it is "fusion cuisine". I think this place would suit Americans who haven't tried Indian or regional Indian food and don't know any better. It's simply too expensive to try things and be disappointed or look foolish to end up with a $200.00 dinner check for chicken tikka masala. $6.00 for one idly? It is really overpriced for a restaurant in this area. If it was in the middle of a city, I'd understand. I'd rather spend this money at Joey...
